The “light wedge” is an adjustable plastic wedge and stainless steel screw that goes through the light ring. After the bottom of the fixture catches on the niches bottom the fixture should be tilted up until the fixture is flush with the wall and the wedge is inside the niches. As the screw is tightened the wedge tightens against the side of the niches and fixture “wedging” it in.

Pools are not worth the cost of maintenance.
Needs instructions, as pool niche adaptor put pressure on pool light gasket and created slow leak, destroying brand new bulb. Very disappointed. Bought a new bulb and trying one more time. Will update if it works out this time.
