Excellent toy for my 5 y/o son
I bought for my 5 y/o son, and we couldn't be happier. First few times, I had to figure out myself before I helped my son to transform to Camaro, but he got it and after that he enjoyed so much transforming back and forth no problem. I purchased another one for his friend as BD present. Some reviews complained so much about quality of this product as "doors do not shut", "poor design", "piece of junk", but that's not true. With a little trick ( push forward at the door hinges), both doors can be completely fit shut. I wish I could show this technique in Youtube. This product is totally fine in quality, size, and price.

Great for younger kids
Great figurine for younger kids. Bought this for a four year old and he has no trouble changing from one to the other. The size is large enough that he can make all of the pieces move with ease and doesn't have any trouble with it. This helps keep his interest for longer and, as the figurine is quite sturdy, he can be rough with it and it has help up nicely.

Worth the $ if your not paying over $20
Okay, entertains my 5 yo, but difficult to transform and does not come together well when in car form. However, way better than the ones my mom bought him at Walmart. That don't transform, just have a million little pieces to attach and detach and have to keep up with!

Awesome toy! My little brother absolutely loved it
Awesome toy! My little brother absolutely loved it! Although this one didn't come with instructions on how to flip and change it. Just two pictures that you have to study to figure out how to flip it. But we got it figured out and that was the only disappointment in this product!

Pieces do not fit together correctly
I bought this toy for my 5 year old son for christmas through an amazon deal. He was absolutelly thrilled when he opened the presant and saw the toy he had been oggling after. The excitement was short lived and destroyed by frustration as he attempted to transform bumblebee into the car. He has siblings and is very advanced for his age so ability is not the problem. After 10 unsuccessful minutes of my son attempting the transformation, it was my turn. With the directions in my hand I felt fairly confident. 10 minutes later, i was not feeling so confident. The transformation is nearly impossible. Tucking the head is incredibly difficult and it does not tuck easily. In fact, to get the head tucked at all, I had to force it down until it made a cracking sound (I thought i broke it). If you are able to get the head down then your next issue is the hood of the car. It does not stay in position. As soon as you stop holding the "transformed car" together and set it down, the hood pops up. It seems as if the pieces do not fit together correctly, there is something that is just not quite right about the components of this toy. The quality of this product is fair but it could be higher quality and more durable plastic. Especially since the consumer needs to apply so much added force to make the toy to do what it is suppose to do. The added stress to this toy, along with only fair quality plastic, equals a toy that will not last. The good thing about this toy is when bumblebee is in robot form. He looks awesome. Very similar to his movie form which is a plus. In this form, he really gets my son's imagination going. Thank goodness this toy was not a total loss... Still, its mind boggling to me that this toy was advertised and sold as a robot that transforms into a car since executing that task is nearly impossible. If you think your child will be happy with a large action figure toy that barely transforms into a car then this toy is for you. But, if you are looking to turn your bad ass robot into a bad ass car, save yourself the disappointment and try something else.

Not like the t formers when I was a kid
This thing is complete junk. Not like the t formers when I was a kid. Cheap plastic, hard to transform for an adult (let alone a kid) and doesn't even go together right. Cheap plastic. Very disappointed. My son gets frustrated, isn't worth a dollar. When it is a car and he tries to play with it, it starts coming apart. Save your money.

it's OK for older kids
Fairly easy to transform. It's not for younger kids. It's not very durable.

This was an absolute amazing buy. I was very much happy by the quality of this item. My nephew adores it and cannot seem to put it down. I am looking forward to more interesting purchases in the transformers range.
