I used this to make a belly cast when I was pregnant. My kids helped. It was fun and easy clean up.

I used this to build up the armeture of my sculpture before adding actual plaster and it helped a lot.I found these to be affordable compared to going to hobby lobby for the same type of cloth, but rebranded for art making. This image is after i built actual plaster and painted the base coat on!

I ordered this as an ‘open box’ item from Amazon and I guess that meant no directions either. The packing is in various languages except English. I of course figured out that it needed to be wet for 5 seconds, then applied, and then it takes 5 minutes to dry. Easy, right? Ha! This does dry FAST but do not try to use the roll at once. I needed this to wrap an extra large (18” wide) balloon. I wet the first roll the placed the end of the roll on the balloon and started on rolling it around the balloon. Well, this was a very poor idea. The cloth did not stick and proceeded to slide right off the balloon while I was still wrapping it and in doing so the cloth became twisted around itself and was now a .5” wide rope instead of a flat 4” strip. I tried to untangle the cloth but it was useless. So I had wasted an entire roll. I used the second roll but applied it in strips cut about 8” long. Those stuck really well and dried very fast. I of course ran out and did not have enough after wasting the first roll so I grabbed some tissue paper and added flour and corn starch to the bowl I had used to soak the cloth and just used that in strips to finish the project. I have no clue how the project will turn out but since it’s supposed to look like a broken open dinosaur egg it should be okay. Regardless, do not use the roll in tact. Cut it in strips then wet one, apply it, then repeat. These will be rock hard when it dries as evidenced by the plaster cloth rock pile I now have.

We used the gauze to make a Halloween mask. It did a great job although one more roll would have been better. It’s a better fit for a child mask

Don't buy this its crap all I foes is patches holes in your art work ,very thin a waste of money.

La gasa tiene muy poco yeso, cuando la mojas para usar esta transparente, manito abajo.....no la recomiendo.

Very overpriced for what you get. Not good value.
