Great choice, would choose over Dyson
Loved this vacuum. We were looking for a good but affordable option and honestly did not regret the purchase. Love that we do not have to hold on to power button like the Dyson and that it was about half the price. I will say the Dyson might have a bit more suction but not enough for the hug price difference and this vacuum is much lighter and easier to maneuver. It is durable and has withstand many falls and even cracks. Unfortunately after being dropped too many times by the kids I will need to purchase a new one, but I am glad it has lasted this long. We purchased it in 2021.

This works pretty well. Buy a second battery.
I love my wife. I hated to see her with that crappy little vacuum that she uses. You know, the one that looks like someone rammed a stick through a Dustbuster? It didn't pick up very much, made a lot of noise and didn't seem that robust. We've already been through a few of them. I've also had to add a couple of electrical outlets to our home in order for her to use that joke vacuum, and she was already making noise about needing another one somewhere. So.... I did some research, and bought this as a Tyson alternative. It was delivered promptly, dangerously close to my wife's birthday (I know what you're thinking, and no way, just no way was that going to be a birthday present.) I put it together and gave it to Wifey, who seemed pleased at the suction power, the fact that she could vary it (But why? she asked), the lack of a cord and that the light on the power head that showed it didn't miss much dirt (mostly Yorkie bits, carried in from outside in her floor-length coat). About fifteen minutes later, the battery had died. At that point, we determined that the battery would last much longer if we reserved the max suction setting for those few areas in the house where we have rugs. The low setting worked just fine on the tile floors throughout our home. Armed with this information, the next time was a bit more successful, but there was still not battery power to get all the floors in the house done. The wall-hanger for this vacuum is great. There is a spot on top to charge a second battery. Armed with this information, we bought one. Now, between the moderation of suction power and the second battery, our floors get cleaned without any problems. The vacuum is easy to empty. There's a filter that will need cleaning inside the dust bin. It's easy to remove, and Tineco provides an attachment that sucks the dirt from the filter. The manufacturer gives you two filters, so you can one in the vac while you're using the vac to clean the other filter. If you go to the website, they'll give you yet another filter just for registering your purchase.

Uptdate to update—hate this vacuum now!…still?
Update to my Update: I emailed customer service in hopes for one last ditch effort- I wanted to love this vacuum still. I did receive a reply within 24 hours asking for the usual model #, proof of purchase date, a video of the issues, etc. In my haste and busy lifestyle I put that on my list of to-dos and didn’t earnestly get this done. I started a hunt for a new vacuum instead as I really needed one that did well on carpets as we have two rooms with thick carpet. I hade given up on this little stick gem. I say gave up, because the problem was really me, not the vacuum! The “battery” would die within 2 minutes of use, even when fully charged or even when the battey was changed out for a alternate battery. The red lights would flash and I assumed it was the vacuum was a dud. I thought I maintained it well- emptied the bin, flushed out clogs in the rollers or in the tubes, but I didn’t clean and wash the upper filter often. THAT was the issue! I sat down and found my manual that explained the error lights and shutting down could be from clogs and have nothing to do with the battery. I did a major cleaning, including washing the filters and leaving it off the charger for 24 hours for everything to dry and re-set and recharged her. Whatya know! She worked like new! I’m ashamed and pleased at the same time. I didn’t expect a clogged filter to behave like a failed battery. So if you’re having “charging” issues do a full maintenance and try again. It may not be your battery at all. This vacuum is great for my mostly tile and hardwood floors. It gets under furniture and tables very well. It’s good for quick spills and stairs. It does a good “once over” on carpets and rugs, but I’d still use a heavy duty vac for carpets for deep cleans and pet hair. I’m giving it 4 stars for the lack of deep carpet cleaning, but it’s not realistic to think a stick vacuum would perform the same. It is a good vacuum and I love having it plugged into it’s wall stand in the hallway where I need it both “out of the way, but always accessible.” Don’t give up too easily on this little vacuum. It’s powerful and reliable if you take care of it and follow the manual and maintain it adequately. Update: After having this for about six months, I hate this vacuum. I even bought a second battery for this so I could switch it out and keep going. As if! It lasts about 5-6 min on a full charge and when I go to switch out to the other battery, it’s never charged! The too sectioned of the charger has an extra port so you can charge the vacuum and the extra battery at the same time, but it doesn’t charge the top one. It’s like you have to charge the vacuum with the battery and then remember to switch out the battery and put the back up one in and charge it again. I don’t know why it can’t charge both at the same time! The tube often gets clogged and requires constant cleaning. I understand that vacuums need constant maintenance, but stopping 3 times for one room is excessive. I’ve begun to hate vacuuming because of the poor performance of this vacuum. For the very high price I expected it to work better. The extra battery was an additional small fortune. I might have well bought a dyson. I regret my purchase. I love my new vacuum!!! I especially love vacuuming my stairs. I’ve never had a stick vacuum and I must say I’ve been missing out! I love that my vacuum is hanging on my wall easily accessible and I don’t have to hunt for a plug and move the plug to every room. I LOVE that it is so light. I feel motivated to use it for the smallest messes because it’s so light and accessible. I confess…I’ve used it on my counters and dinning table to get crumbs with the handheld version. I mean why not? I bought the extra battery pack because I wanted the security of knowing I could keep going if I needed to, but surprisingly I have never used it! The battery lasts well enough to do my downstairs just fine, even on high. I use it every day to do a quick run around to get my entryway and kitchen and where the dogs come in from the doggie door. I do have one complaint though… whom ever designed this did NOT consider left handedness. It’s obnoxious that if I’m using my left hand to vacuum I keep turning it off. The, how-do-I-say, lever? keeps turning off because it’s designed to be held by a right-handed person. You have to be a left handed person to explain but you have to be conscious of the “on” lever when you’re using your left hand. I wish they had a design that would “latch” instead.

Vacuum of my dreams until it turned into a nightmare
Edit!!!!! I no longer love this vacuum. I actually kind of hate it. We had it for about two months and the motor went out. Just stopped working. We contacted Tineco and they sent us a new motor. Which was great… the replacement was a different model which they say they can be different when getting a warranty part. However this one only had two power settings and overall just seemed like a downgrade from the original. Which is fine I got over it. I was happy to have a working vacuum again because I did have to wait a long time to get the replacement and it was my only vacuum at the time. Now we’re just a month over having the vacuum for a full year and something else has happened. I still don’t know what exactly is wrong with it but it will not suck the debri up the pipe into the canister unless I tilt the entire vacuum up into the air. So it just keeps getting clogged because the debri won’t go into the canister. At this point I’m just annoyed because it’s only a year old, and I’m probably over the warranty. Honestly wishing I just would’ve spent the extra money for a better brand. I love this vacuum. I used to hate sweeping and would push it off as long as possible. Now I vacuum just about every day. My house is hardwood floors everywhere except the bedrooms and stairs. I like to use level one or two on my hard floors and level 3 on the carpet. The suction power is great. It sucks up dust way better than a regular broom and it also picks up large debris as well. The battery life is great. I’ve never ran out of power and I usually vacuum the whole house. Obviously the fact that it’s battery powered makes it cordless which is just so nice. I never had A cordless vacuum before and I can’t get over how convenient it is. It’s super lightweight. Makes vacuuming the stairs so much easier. It’s also very easy to clean the canister and filters. On a regular vacuum I never cleaned the filter because it’s just a hassle. With this vacuum I clean the filter almost every time because it’s easy and it makes me happy. Overall very pleased with this purchase. My husband had been researching all the different stick vacuum options for a long time. We are very happy we choose this one. You can’t beat it for the price.

This Really Sucks!!
In a good way, but not what you are thinking. My Dyson DC44 and DC35 have been slowly failing over the past few months to the point where I decided that I needed to replace them. I initially considered the Dyson V11 (too expensive) and the older Dyson V7 mainly because I still have a couple of working Dyson DC31s and hoped to reuse various accessory attachments, batteries and chargers. On Amazon there were a number of other cordless vacuums from companies I never heard of around the same price as the Dyson V7 but Tineco seemed like a more established company. I figured that I can buy a new current model Tineco A11 Hero+ (which includes various attachments and a second battery) for around the same price as an older model refurbished Dyson. I received the first Tineco A11 Hero+ on 21 November 2019 and after initial tests decided to buy a second one on 27 November 2019. The vacuum performance is significantly better that my Dysons in that it sucks up more fine particles/dust. Although the floor attachment bristles don't seem any stiffer than the Dysons, it seems to vacuum up more carpet fibers. I'm not sure if it picks up more hair than the Dysons (maybe more of it is collected within the chamber as opposed to being wrapped around the floor attachment roller. I use the "MAX" setting since I see no reason not to as the two batteries are sufficient to vacuum everything that needs to be cleaned. Using the the mini power brush on the sofa cushions I was able to extract an amazing amount of fine dust, most of which covered the pre filter. I don't remember using the Dyson mini power brush on the sofa in the past but I have never seen the same amount of fine dust particles on the Dyson either. The Tineco batteries don't seem to last as long as the Dyson batteries which may be due to the higher suction power and possibly faster floor attachment rotation but since it comes with two batteries that are easily changed, this isn't a problem. I always ran the Dysons at Max power too and a single battery always lasted for the cleaning session. I have replaced the Dyson batteries in the past with higher amperage compatible batteries but I never needed to swap batteries while cleaning. I did not see any Tineco compatible batteries on Amazon other than the ones sold by Tineco. It would have been nice if the Hero came with the higher capacity Master battery. The only Tineco downside, for me, is that you must use the wall mount holder to charge the batteries. With the Dysons, the charger plugs into the vacuum which makes it convenient to take the vacuum and charger on road trips. I don't plan on taking the Tineco wall mount and charger on a road trip due to the large size/bulk. The Tineco has more filters (mesh filter, pre-filter, and HEPA exhaust filter) compared to my Dysons (1 exhaust filter) so it takes more time to clean the Tineco compared to the Dysons. For the Dyson, I would empty the dustbin over a waste basket and use a shop vac to clean the dustbin and lid. Next, I would detach the dustbin and vacuum the dustbin and the motor unit intake area. Next, I would open the rear and then vacuum the other side of the unit and the exhaust filter. Sometimes I would remove the exhaust filter and vacuum the other side of the filter and the motor area if it looks dirty. For the Tineco, I would remove the pre-filter over a waste basket and vacuum it rather than using the cleaning tool that comes with it. This is the messiest part due to the fine particles caked around the pre-filter. Next, I would empty the dustbin over the waste basket and vacuum the lid and chamber before removing the plastic/metal mesh filter and vacuuming that part. I also detach the dustbin from the motor unit and vacuum it and the motor housing before putting everything back together. Lastly, I remove the HEPA filter and vacuum it although it seems like nothing gets past the intake filters (mesh filter and pre-filter). The Tineco Multi-tasker Power Brush is easier to clean compared to the Dyson power brushes. It's not clear if this is because more hair gets sucked into the dustbin rather than wrapped around the roller or if it doesn't pick up hair as well as the Dyson. For the Dysons I use a curved utility knife (similar to a carpet knife) to cut the hairs wrapped around the floor attachment rollers and then pull off any remaining hairs/fibers caught within the roller bristles. The Tineco comes with a tool cut the hairs but I'm used to using the utility knife and will continue to use it. The Tineco floor tool has LEDs which the Dyson lacks. Although the Dyson DC35 and DC44 are not totally unusable, I am glad I bought the Tineco A11 Hero+ because they perform a much better job of cleaning. It didn't make sense to buy a pair of older Dyson V7 nor Tineco A10 and I couldn't justify the cost of buying a pair of Dyson V11's or Tineco Pure ONE S12's. It also didn't make sense to buy a lesser known vacuum from other companies that not as well established. I bought the second Tineco when the price dropped around Black Friday and it seems like the price dropped again (not permanently as most of the drop is due to limited time coupons). I did have a problem with the first Tineco A11 where something was rattling around the inside of the pre-filter but this was quickly replaced by the seller after I contacted them. It would be nice if higher capacity batteries were available along with a small stand-alone charger.

Versatile, powerful, ergonomical, & quiet are my initial impressions.
Just unpacked used the product today for the first time. It was packed pretty well, everything had it's own snug little compartment to keep it all secured in the box. The power brush is smaller than I was expecting. When I got it all together I was skeptical that I got my money's worth, it seemed more like a toy. But as I started using it it's definitely not a toy! I had to empty it 3x just from vacuuming the stairs (17 steps). My large 22x26 room I emptied 5x. I'm impressed with it's handling of dog fur (Husky) as well as how much small dirt/dust particles it picked up. Sucker's got some power! As advertised, it is pretty quiet. Quietest vacuum I've ever used. I was worried about the collection bin being too small with having a long hair dog, but with that power comes compression inside the bin so it's able to pack quite a lot into that small space. Almost $300 bucks is no small amount, especially for a vacuum. I was very leery & hesitant to pull the trigger on this one, it being a brand I've never heard of before. Tineco can thank Consumer Reports for earning my business, as it was recommended by them over Dyson due to Dyson's decline in quality & reliability apparently. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it doesn't feel the most sturdy in my hands, not like a typical upright. This is my first stick so I'm probably just not used to the lighter design & style. It does feel well built, just not solid. Then again they are all removable attachments & parts so that's probably par for the course for a stick vac. For now I feel it was a good buy. I say "for now" because I haven't even had it a whole day yet. I will follow-up as I put some more laps on it & get a better idea of it's overall quality & versatility. **** Update **** Holy crap does this thing pick up a LOT more dirt than any of my previous vacuums! My previous vacuum (Dirt Devil upright) could do the whole house & at most I'd have to empty it once. No joke, I have filled a 13gal tall kitchen can/bag!! Mind you most of it was dog fur, but still WAY more than the upright ever picked up. The bottom of the bag was all gritty sandy dirt, about 6" deep worth! I've NEVER had a vacuum pick up so much, let alone how effortlessly it does so. I live in a 3K square ft house, alone with just my dog. I bought it brand new 4yrs ago, no kids have ever been over, I never wear shoes in the house. I have absolutely no idea where all that dirt came from, let alone that my previous vacuum left that much behind! I'm absolutely amazed by this things performance! Will update on quality after more use, I've only had it since yesterday. **** Update **** Still very happy with this vacuum. Played with a friend's Dyson & I can say my first impression about it feeling toy-ish & un-sturdy is related to the style (cordless stick) & not a reflection of the Tineco A11 vacuum so I am adding the fifth star I withheld because of my first impression. Also.. some reviews are complaining the bend at the base of the power head preventing it from going flat to vacuum under furniture & this is not true. All you have to do is turn the vacuum a quarter turn so the power head is on an angle & it drops completely flat. (Photo & video attached.) **** Update **** So I feel the need to counter the reviews here that complain about loss of suction after only a few uses. CHECK THE FILTER!! As I mentioned about how much this thing picked up that my Dirt Devil left behind, & how much of that was fine gritty dirt, well.. it caked the cleanable filter REALLY quickly! The tool they include to clean the main filter is included for a reason. I've had to clean the filter about a dozen times in 4 months. With a freshly cleaned filter I just ran over a penny & the vacuum sucked it right up, & that was in normal mode NOT on max. The filter is stupid-simple to clean. It literally just slides in & out from the middle of the collection bin. I've started the habit of pulling & knocking it on the side of the garbage can whenever I empty the bin. It literally only takes 2-3 seconds to do.. I only use the cleaning tool about every 10 days to get the extra fine dirt off if it. (And yes, they do include a 2nd filter to swap into the vacuum before using the cleaning tool, you're not running the cleaning tool filterless.). The engineers really did go the extra mile to make this very user-friendly, an excellent performer, & easy to keep in optimal condition to maintain that performance. 4 months in & I still highly recommend this vacuum! **** August 22, 2020 **** Still going strong! I now knock off the fine dust particles from the filter every time I empty the collection bin. I literally vacuum 1x-2x daily so I've used this thing at minimum 200x & suction power has not declined.

Decent vacuum for the money, but with some inconveniences
I've had my Tineco for just over 2 years now and I've been mostly happy with it. The Good: I love how easy it is to quickly spot vacuum. The weight is easy to manage, even while holding a 25 pound toddler in one arm. At full blast, it's quite powerful. The vacuum itself is disassembles into parts for easy replacement: the power running through the dustbin recently broke, (I didn't even realize that it came off) and Tineco customer service is replacing it for free even though it was out of warranty. The Bad: The battery doesn't last long at full blast, where it needs to be to actually pick up big crumbs and stuff on a bare floor, and it takes a while to charge. I can just barely vacuum my downstairs on one charge. I bought a second battery to switch out, and that gets me through the whole house. The dustbin design needs work. It is way too small for my constantly shedding wool rugs, so I imagine it would also be too small for people with shedding dogs. The dustbin door release is difficult to open. It's position at the bottom of the dustbin would be convenient if the filter design didn't constantly prevent dust chunks from falling out. Because of this, I always need two hands to empty it--I need to take off the tube, open the door, take out the filter, then shake out the dustbin, and probably peel some of my hair off from around the filter. Finally, and this is only a minor inconvenience, but the wall mount doesn't have a place for all the accessories that can't with the vacuum. Overall, it's an ok vacuum for the money and I was impressed with the customer service. But if I had to do it again, I would just shell out the extra money for a Dyson.

I never knew how badly I needed this.
Ever buy something and then realize you should have gotten it a long time ago? Well this vacuum Is one of those things. First off let me say that I’m old fashioned when it comes to cleaning and always thought that a broom and dustpan is all you need psshhttt was I wrong. When I unboxed this thing and let it charge overnight, I wasted no time in giving it a gauntlet of test. The LED lights in the front of the sweeper really lit up all the dust and crap I would never have been able to see with the naked eye, it gave me a real sense of my home being clean afterwards. The attachments all come in useful especially the duster attachment, I used that to clean my ceiling fan and walls and was surprised by how much dust was being captured. I got carried away and just started moving furniture and cleaning under and around to see how well the battery performs, it did not get the 50 minutes thats advertised, I got 37 mins of continuous usage w/o using max mode. Thank god I opted for the 2 battery version though I did not feel the need to use max mode cause all dust, dirt and hair was sucked up in one pass. Which brings me to other features I really like, the suction power and noise level. I get home late at night and thats when I do most of my cleaning thus the broom and dustpan as to not make a whole lotta noise. The noise level on this thing is not bad at all, not something that would interrupt my Next door neighbors and I have a real pain in the ass one that complains over every lil noise but has not even noticed the noise from this vacuum, though max mode is significantly higher but not necessary due to its amazing suction power in normal mode. Its a light vacuum, I read in the comments about some people complaining about its weight- like seriously how weak do you need to be in order to complain about this thing being heavy? At first its lightness worried me because I associate lightness with cheap quality but I was wrong. Everything seems to be durable despite its lightness. The clear see thru design is cool looking and its wall mount is neat and functional and is able to hold all the accessories sans the filter cleaner which is ok. I like how they include 2 filters, i found it pretty easy to clean the filter and the attachment to do so is nicely designed. Pros: light - 2 batteries - cool looking - great suction power - battery life - low noise level in regular mode - attachments - LED lights on sweeper - warranty Cons: As a man I found the handle to hold the vacuum during usage to be on the small side, I can snuggly fit three fingers on the handle whilst having my index finger extended along the side, not a big deal but would have been nice to grip it better. - the toggle switch that allows you to continuously run the vacuum w/o the need to have the trigger pressed down is a bit on the sensitive side and I was constantly turning off the vacuum by accident with my thumb, again cause the grip is on the smaller side. A tad annoying especially when you are in the zone cleaning. - does not stand upright, I tried and once its started to lean over, I caught it just in time. I do not want to test the ruggedness of the plastic Its made from, though I said before it seems sturdy, I doubt it can take a direct hit on a hard floor w/o cracking its casing. Overall very good vacuum and would recommend to everyone.
