Lion Brand Yarn Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling Knitting Yarn, Yarn for Crocheting, 1-Pack, Mustard

Very disappointed that this yarn does not match the weight and thickness of other “Basic Stitch anti-pilling” yarn purchased at the same time from Lion Brand. The silver heather is barely half the weight and thickness of the mustard. Too late to return as I needed it for a rush gift project. Consistency should be the same, right? The mustard yarn is perfect, though!

This yarn doesn’t split nor where there any knots that I couldn’t work into my shawl when I was making this one in the picture. The shawl is thick and comfortable, I made it specifically for places that were cold or out doors in the winter months. The yarn easily renews itself in the washer and dryer which makes it good for me. The finished shawl has not stretched out of shape nor gotten thinner. Therefore it is practically like new even though I made it a month ago at the time of this writing.Only issue I have is that you kinda don’t get much per skein. I mean this is a full length 37” shawl and it took around 1,100+ yards of yarn, and at 185 yards a skein that’s a lot of skeins. But we’ll worth it.

It patterns beautifully when knitted and it's super soft on the hands. I haven't washed any of the items...but I did a hat and scarf set as a xmas gift, I'm doing a temperature blanket for 2020 in it and I amassed a significant stash of it because I buy it every time I find it for 2.99 or less

It came like this. Not in plastic, nor did it have a label. I cant check sizing or recommended hook size unless I search my order. And it is unraveled in the wrong way. I had alot more expectations for lion brand company.

The heather gold is amazing no knots But the price point keep shooting up higher and higher so I will not be purchasing that anymore from Amazon the price point on here is actually ridiculous when you look at the website and basically any craft store this is ridiculous because you could get at least three skeins for the same but the golden rod and the two skeins of red Heather are nothing but knots smh I would like my money back for them both but Amazon is taking forever sellers are taking forever to actually give you your money back even if it’s on a gift card ..I found this to be ridiculous

Much smaller than expected. For $8 a roll I expected each roll to be bigger. Needless to say I don’t have enough to finish my project and am debating wether spending another $16 is worth it or if I should find another brand.

This skein was a mess!! First, the ends were hidden and I had to go on a hunt to find them. Once located, there were not 2, but 6 ends. Upon unraveling the entire skein, I was left with 3 separate "piles" of yarn. Unless I was planning on making something no bigger than an ornament, this yarn was utterly useless. I could have joined them, but the yarn variation would make the joints VERY obvious! I CANNOT recommend this to any serious crocheter! Huge disappointment.

This yarn is only the second brand of anti-pilling yarn I've used it's not the highest quality. It works fine for the hat I'm making. I just don't like how the yarn untwists when knitting.

This yarn is very pretty and adds fun to any project. It's nice and soft and stretchy! Strongly recommend!

I use this yours to make wiki sticks and they absorb a lot of wax, so I had to remove the excess wax manually. I would not recommend this for vicky stick projects.
