B450M DS3H WiFi (AM4/ AMD B450/ SATA 6GB/s/USB 3.1/ HDMI/WiFi/Bluetooth/AMD Motherboard)

Firstly special thanks to the seller for: 1. Updated BIOS version, RYZEN 3000 series ready. 2. Great Packaging 3. Got this for just 7.5k (inclusive credit card discount) About the motherboard: First off, this board is updated to accept the Ryzen chips. Of course, check to be sure your chip will work with this board. I have had Gigabyte boards in a few of my builds, & along with the price, liked the features that come with this board. It's not a high end board, but it certainly does what it's supposed to. Airflow is important, & with the other pieces on this build being heaters, I certainly don't want any blocks or stops, either by the I/O ports, or along the front, up to the CPU. This doesn't have any of those shields. The board is the important thing in your build, but it doesn't need to dominate the build. Keep in mind that it has two fan ports. One for the CPU, one for the system. It also has one for your LED lighting if you want that. I have my case fans running, & control them myself (or by a program), but some people may want more. Fit, function & nice. I didn't have any issues putting the board in, & the I/O face plate is like any other. I Just taped it in place, till I lined everything up, then removed the tape. Screwing the board in place, lined it up & it looks fine. Only maybe twice have I even had one stay on, with the tabs & hooks. There are quite a few USB ports on this board, which is one of the reasons I (again) leaned towards the DS3H. I have it hooked up to a KVM & want one port for each controller. Hooking this up to the case, was easy enough. I did need an extension for the ATX power, as the PSU sits on the bottom of my case. But all of the plugs, & ports are reachable, & work fine. Even the front ports & readers. The bios is easy to get to, & can be done in the traditional way, or via Gigabyte's great software through Windows. Once in there (it's on an optical disc) you can adjust fan speeds, lights & the usual bios & tweaking stuff. The disc also has the software for video cards. I only had to check box & get things installed. You can opt for just install stuff, or make paths, & control what goes on your drives. That's about it. I expect this board to hold up when I expand. The SATA headers are grouped together nicely, just keep in mind where your cards will fit. Some of them may be blocked. I don't know if using the M2 drive reduces the 1-3 SATA headers, I don't have any. I do have my hot swap SATA port hooked up on the case, & it's fine. As always. I expect B&H Photo to have the most up to date & current stock, which is one of the reasons I went with them, for this board. I knew it was going to work out of the box, with out needing any flashing.

Very durable and good quality motherboard. Very cost effective and includes wifi. Easy to download drivers. Easy to update bios. M-atx and fits in most cases. Supports high speed data transfer. Works with am4 CPUs. Supports dual channel memory.

Not a robust motherboard, but it is good for the value I paid. Reliability is good and it suits gigabyte. Recommended for low end PC making.

packaging by is very bad; there was neither an Amazon box nor any soft packing, which could damage the item, and most importantly, I didn't receive any bill or invoice in my name. This is very wrong; it will create problems in future warranty claims. Otherwise product is good.

II was looking for a budget motherboard with ARGB headers to control my case fans lighting with motherboard and I have came across this . Came in a great packing from Amazon and the box was sealed and no missing parts . The package contains motherboard , 2 sata cables , back panel, 2 antenna for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and some paper work . The required drivers will be downloaded automatically by the gigabytes driver downloading utility . I have paired it with a Ryzen 5 5600G and it worked right out of the box . The board comes with latest bios updated and works out of the box with latest ryzen CPUs. Wifi and Bluetooth have good range and speed . One con I have faced is the Gigabyte ARGB software RGB Fusion . It wasn't able to detect my ARGB rams and case fans . Tried OpenRGB software , it was able to detect the RGB fans and RAM but wasn't able to sync properly . Finally I have tried with Signal RGB and everything was perfectly synced . Also the board have 2 ARGB connectors , one at top and one at the bottom . No other issues faced from this motherboard so far . So if you are looking for a budget b450 board with ARGB Sync or WiFi then this is the right choice. Go for it !
