Q: Many customers reviews state that the stitching is inadequate. In response have you made the stitching more durable and how?

I am also concerned about this bag's durability and would like to know whether COR has improved it in any way?

Q: For kayaking in alaska, not sure which size to get. i am 5'4". will the 25l carry jacket and a lot of photo gear, or should i get the 40l?

The 25 liter has plenty of space for those items; however it does not have a waist strap. I returned the bag due to no waist wrap. The 40L has a waist wrap but it's huge. I ended up buying an Overboard Pro-V 30 liter in the end. It has all the straps and proved to be comfortable and a good size. I'm also 5'4 and female.

Q: Does the material come with a cut proof quality. Does it stay protected from sharp objects from the outside?

I do not think that the material is ANSI rated as cut proof but it is thick and very durable. I have taken (and abused) this bag on dive trips all over the world and it barely shows any wear. I feel like this bag will last forever.
