Size runs large, more like an XX-Large
POSITIVE: The underwear look like regular underwear. The fabric is soft and padding adequate. NEGATIVE: The waistband is rough and stiff. Sizing is not accurate, the Large is quite a bit bigger than my Fruit of the Loom X-Large underwear. I will be returning them.

Bigger pad than Wearever but you'll feel wet.
The good: the pad is larger in coverage than Wearevers and after washing the briefs are slightly larger than Wearevers' as well; that increase in size makes them a "large" extra large in comparison to regular nonincontinence briefs like Hanes. The bad: I'm a heavy dribbler, not completely incontinent, so I want to be able to wear all day. Even though the pad does not fill, the wetness spreads onto the unpadded area which then makes it to the pants. Also, you can feel the wetness (prior to the spreading) on the pad relatively soon (unlike Wearever). They also are much harder to dry after washing than Wearever (gas dryer) usually need to dry 3x compared to once. The pad does not reach as close to the band as Wearever either but if you fold over the band, it fixes the issue without discomfort. Conclusion: If you void your bladder in one mass, then change them immediately (or don't mind feeling wet or care about the spread) these are for you because of the larger pad size coverage than Wearever.

Wicking into crotch = Fail.
Sadly, a total fail. I was really hoping these might offer an alternative to the on-going expense of disposable pants. But unfortunately, the side seams wick urine down into the crotch area, and these are actually much worse than disposables. The cotton fabric is such a good wick that urine even got into the back of the underwear, how, I have no idea. But by later afternoon the entire seam area going through the crotch was wet and chafing and I had to take them off. They were nowhere near wet in the front, but too wet at the edges to wear any longer without great discomfort. At least for me they were an expensive trial that failed.

Great for Light Leaks for Golfers
I got these for my husband because he dribbles , especially while golfing. It helps so he doesn't leak thru to his outer pants and saves him embarrassment when he can't get off the course in time. The pad is in front (no fly) but he says it is OK and they wash well keeping their shape. The sizing is perfect to his underwear size so easy to get a perfect fit.

Not so much
My husband says these are the most comfortable underpants he has ever worn. He is not a pushover. Think princess and the pea. Last night when I asked him how they were he said he forgot he had them on. High praise indeed. Update: Don't hold liquid well at all and have become quite stretched and baggie. Have to use these with a thick pad for any protection.
