desertcart.com: The Guvnor Tapes - Lenny McLean's Unpublished Stories, As Told By The Man Himself: 9781844543588: Gerrard: Books Review: A good read. I've never met either man, so couldn't possibly comment on how accurate any of it is. As an add on to the main book, it is different enough to justify it being separate. Any events from the main book that are repeated are either more detailed or as Lenny told them in the recording stage. Since reading the original I've read other books that claim Lenny was a bully and fails to mention the numerous fights that he lost, but if you can enjoy it for what it is and not in that context then I'd happily recommend it. Review: Looking forward to reading this new chapter of Lenny

An excellent read. Throughout the story, you feel like you're sat around the table with Lenny whilst he's telling you his story. Have read it 4 times now & will do again and again.
