I was hesitant to get this because some had said it only closed by velcro and that your pet can get out. This is not so. I love the features of this bag. It zips closed on the top and only the 'end' of the flap tab velcros to the bag. Plus, there is a double top on it, one screen and one solid and both have zippers. You can just close the screen with the zipper if you want more ventilation or visibility to see your pet. The side pocket if very spacious and the only improvement I would have liked better is if it would gusseted so that what you put in it doesn't take up pet space. I was very impressed with the style of this pet carrier and if you have a pet under 5 to 6 pounds, this is perfect!

I actually used this as a small carrier for my small pet bird. I like products like these because they help cover the sides but can leave one side or two of your preference open to help keep down your pet's anxiety levels from other animals around when visiting a vet or grooming appointment. I got compliments everywhere I went. If I had a little dog I would totally carry them around in this.Pros:- Lightweight but just sturdy enough to stand on its own- Noticeable attention to detail inside bag everything is soft and your pet won't catch on anything (except the collar attachment which you can hook outside to the zipper)- Pockets- Great strong canvas material even on the handlesCons- Not good for TALL escape artists that can reach the top of the bag- There could have been a board lining in the bag to make the sides more sturdy as you can easily push in or squish the bag from the sides.. though it is sturdy enough to stand on its own but any pressure can push it in. So you have to constantly keep this in mind and be careful.

I bought this for my 5lb chihuahua/yorkie mix and he loves it. It's comfortable and has a zipper to keep doggie essentials! Also super cute 😍

I bought this bag for my 5 pound papillon and she fits perfectly. The bag is cute and comfortable. It has a pocket that I can throw my keys, phone and wallet in! Love that i can put her in through the top or the side zipper. LOVE!!!

Overall this is best bag I can find in this price range for my little dog. My 5 lb chihuahua has room to move and could fit another his size if you had two.

I love this bag. It has a summer vibe . And you can sneak your baby in anywhere. 😊 My baby weights 5 lbs and has room to move around. Has room for you to add a few of your things, so I can just take this bag and have all I need.
