It appears to be manufactured in Oriskany, NY. I don’t know the source of the ingredients.

Is this pure enough to grow crystals for science project?

I am no scientist, but would guess the answer is yes. Label says 100% aluminum sulfate. Aluminum 17% and sulfer 15%. (Don't you also need potassium to grow crystals?)

Will this lower the ph for avocado / citrus saplings ?

Yes. Aluminum sulphate lowers the ph in Soil

Isn’t aluminum sulfate white? Why is it yellow in the picture?

I think that it just looks yellow-ish in the photo. I bought this stuff and the crystals are white. It's just the photo.
