BEEMO Swim Caps for Women Swimming Turban Polyester Latex Lined Pleated for Ladies

I loved this! I'm Muslim, but don't wear a full hijab, mostly turbans. So when I was looking for a solution for when I wanted to go swimming, I saw this. It's got an inner liner that's mostly water proof, and it sticks very well to the head. It did not slip at all. (I wore my hair in a bun, and I've got about 4 feet of hair). The ONLY downside is when you pull the turban over your ears, due to the inner liner, your hearing drops to near zero. It's very muffled. It's fine if you're at a pool, but I imagine if you're at a waterpark or beach and need to pay attention to children, it would impede that. But absolutely 100% recommend, whether you are Muslim or not! It absolutely stays put, kept my hair dry, and allowed me to go swimming. Alhamdulilah 💕

Five stars for customer service.I purchased this hot pink Beemo Women’s Swim Bathing Cap Turban – Polyester Latex Lined Pleated for Women & Girls Long/Short Hair for daily water aerobics class and not for full " head- under-water" swimming.I give it ONE STAR because it was poorly made. (see photo) I returned it and the replacement had the same defect.PROS: Comfortable. Good coverage for long hair. Easy to put on. Cut low on the neck for good coverage. Great customer service.CONS: Poor construction. The hot pink swim cap AND its replacement were both visibly defective in the same place: the front center of the band right between your eyes. (see photo). The white underlining shows on the front band of the hot pink swim cap like a head light! You can see that the hot pink fabric is too narrow for the width of the white rubber underlining it covers, so it rolls forward. It came that way on both caps. You can't tuck it under or force it to stay down. It shows, no matter what. Not acceptable. I never used it in the pool so can't say if it performs well in the water. The replacement cap was even worse than original! However, I like the fit so well that I am willing to try ONE MORE TRY with a different color. If that doesn't work, I'm done with this product. I'll update once it arrives and adjust my rating accordingly. (Note: I was able to exchange the first one, but an exchange option was not offered for the 2nd one)*****UPDATE Feb 2019*** The seller contacted me (in a positive way) about 6 times after my 2 bad experiences with this pink swim cap. I really tried to ignore them (LOL) but they insisted on sending me a different style cap free of charge as compensation. I finally agreed. They even gave me 6 choices of caps. I selected the black latex bubble crepe cap with 3 flowers, pink green & blue. As it turns out, it’s the perfect cap. I will write a separate review for the new cap, but I wanted to update this review to say how concerned and responsive the seller was. They get 5 stars for customer concern and service.

This is made for splashing around the pool then competitive swimming. If you do choose to go under the water with his cap your hair will get wet but it won't be soaked.The inside is like a plastic shower cap feel, while the outside is a soft fabric material. It was easy to put on and take of. It had a snug fit but not uncomfortable.

I don’t know what anyone here is talking about saying that they went under water with this and their hair stayed dry. Nah. No you didn’t. This is a little bit better protection than a shower cap. You will have to buy a silicon swimming cap to go under it if you want to be able to keep your hair dry. I didn’t even go under water and half my head was soaked. In fact, it would hold the water inside and I would have to periodically open the seem and let the trapped water out.BUT it is so cute. 100% worth buying if you’re just lounging, want to avoid splashes, or buy a swimming cap to go under it. It looks like a little 1920’s turban. I like the way mine looks more if I wear it backwards.

I wore this for the first time tonight, loved it. It is not water tight, but it kept most of my hair dry. I found it very comfortable on my head. This is not going to work for a legit swim. However, if you want to get in the water, but you don't want your hair to get wet, then this is the route for you. This will prevent you from being a Karen and screaming at others not to get your hair wet. Cause no one really likes hanging out at the pool, with the person who keeps screaming about getting wet. Don't be that person, buy this swim cap.

Look like it been in the package to long. It had yellow stains on cap

I bought this to wear over my hair to protect it from steam and splashing in the hot tub. I can't attest to its durability, as I've only worn it once, but it worked well for its purpose. The design is pretty and I really like that there is extra room inside the cap for long hair -- I put my hair into a soft bun before pulling the cap over, and the bun fit inside the cap nicely. My head is on the small side, and the elastic fit slightly loosely at the back -- for actual swimming in a pool, I'm sure it would not keep my hair dry if I went underneath. But for those of average or larger head circumference, it would fit more tightly.
