It's great to have some extras, especially the battery and the wall charger (since the camera doesn't come with one.) And a bag, huge plus. The tripod is pretty flimsy and low-tech, but it's fine for very light usage, which is what I use it for. Probably not sturdy enough to go to a lot of ball games for videoing your child. But it's good enough for me, well worth the price for all the other stuff!

This is a great little bundle. The larger tripod is sturdy and the smaller one is perfect for a table top. A good value for the money to go with your Canon camera. The case is good quality and they have travel chargers that are handy. This is a well thought out package.

I am giving this 5 stars because I think it is a good value for the price. I bought this for my 13 year old son. We bought him a Canon camcorder and this accessory kit for his birthday. He is interested in making films and this kit is great for a novice film maker. I would not recommend for someone who is looking for something more sturdy, professional quality. However, it is perfect for some who wants to experiment with filmmaking and its very affordable price makes it a good value.

The accessory kit is ok. Nothing spectacular. It all depends on what your already have and/or need with your camcorder:The extra battery pack will probably come in handy for us when we are on vacation, but otherwise it is just something that takes up extra space considering the little amount of time we really use it. The charger is nice though so that I don't have to leave the camera lying around for my kids to destroy every time I charge the battery.The two tripods are a joke. The little one barely stands up with this and would be better suited to a little point and shoot camera than the camcorder. The taller adjustable one is flimsy at best. It would probably not stand up very well if there were even a slight breeze and honestly, I would be worried about the camera getting knocked over. I already have a much better tripod so I just gave that away and would highly recommend you just buy a separate one if you really need one.The USB card reader would be helpful if your computer does not have a card reader built in it. Mine does. It could come in hand if you wanted to just look at files on your TV (if it has a USB spot) but that can also easily be accomplished with the HDMI cable.Screen protector and cleaning kit: Both are very useful. The screen protector is 3 sheets so they could easily be used for other items as well as the camera. The cleaning kit is nice to have and was a life saver for me not for the camera, but for our new TV thanks to the kids...haha.The only thing I found absolutely useful out of this was the camera bag. It has plenty of room for storing the stuff that you need when you're on the go. It's very useful and hopefully holds up well. I'm sure you could find a comparable one for the same price as this kit.Is the kit worth getting? That just depends on what your needs are....what you have already and what you might need. Think about which of these items are necessary for you.

This kit has really everything you could possibly need. At first I thought I wouldn't be using everything it includes but I went out on a trip last weekend and everything came out to be quite useful, except the SD to USB converter but that's because my computer has SD Reader itself.The tabletop tripod can be a bit tricky to balance but once you find the right angle it will work just fine. The large tripod is light and can be folded enough to perfectly fit on a carry on luggage! That tripod might not be useful for large and heavy cameras but hey, you are buying this for your Canon VIXIA which weights almost nothing, so you shouldn't expect this tripod to be useful for any heavier equipment.

Not a bad accessory package. The extra battery charged in about an hour. The carry bag is not has heavy as the threaded bags I buy for my laptops, but it is strong enough for normal day use. The small desktop standing is interesting. Not bad to put on my desktop and talk to if I want to send a video through WeTransfer.com. My VIXIA HF R500 camera says the SD card can record up to 8 hours and 15 minutes of time. The battery that comes with my camcorder is good for 2 hours on a single charge and again the charge only took an hour to do.My last camcorder was a Sony ES900 which isn't made anymore and is a tape driven unit which gave me very good results, so I have not bought a new camcorder in 20 years. What impresses me with the one I bought is how small it is. It literally just fits in the palm of my hand. Obviously given the circuitry takes a small amount of power to run the camera, little battery power is used for its steady use, making the battery last a lot longer as the computer technology keeps developing.I was not too thrilled with the long standing tripod. I bought a nice tripod for $50 some 30 years ago made out of aluminum and it was built to last. Again $50 was worth a lot more that long ago too. This aluminum tripod is on the weak side in my experience with tripods over the decades and I'm nearly 60, but it will do in a pinch I suppose. I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 because of the long standing tripod which is questionable as far as reliability is concerned and long wear and tear over enough use. Otherwise everything else looks quite fine and saves on the money getting the extras I needed when buying my camcorder.Thank you Amazon for offering my camcorder through your site. I saved an extra $10 buying it directly from you and not a dealer. Every little bit helps these days with the high cost of everything.

A great value for what you pay for, and a good kit of useful things. The bag alone is worth close to what you'd pay at a store, but you get a tripod, a desk tripod, extra battery, cable, USB card reader. It's a steal.

Tripod unsafe. Happy with the battery charger, the spare battery and usb cable, kept the micro reader too... sorry would not trust my camera on such a flimsy device. .. Seller don't offer the tripod, it's a toy.. Too all Buyers its a good Package otherwise... I would buy again
