Will do the job. It's longer than the sofa but can tuck underneath, making it more stable for the cats to scratch. It looks good, and the cats like it. Well made, and the pockets are a good addition.

I think this is excellent and does exactly what its supposed to. My cats are scratching this now instead of my couch. My only issue is that the fabric that sits in the sofa to hold it in place is a little long as my couch doubles as a fold out bed. I would imagine it would fit most non fold out couch's perfectly.

Our scratcher armrest is too short for our sofa, at both ends of the scratching panel. But if you have a small sofa, it is quite strong.

Had one before. Lasted a good 5 years before Mr Zachary Binx (my Cat) ripped up the side. He uses it everyday and I only replaced due to my own OCD. Fits my sofa like a glove, great colour range and good price 10/10 recommended.

Not great for use as the cat scratcher part is fabric abd not rigid. Too long so drags on the floor also. The scratcher part was also folded in the packaging so didn't sit flat against the side of the sofa. Sending this back.

It acts as a deterrent. At home we have all sorts of tricks to protect furniture and especially fabric. Cats can be incredibly persistent and always find some way of circumventing our defenses. It is quite like by-passing the Maginot Line...
