Excellent tools to help your child read

For the most part, it’s exercise book for reading/writing.I didn’t like to work with this book.For the starter - the pictures used are black and white drawings, not real pictures, so it dicreases the educational value.Many examples are odd. For example, for letter “q”, there is picture of “?”. How the child, who just learns reading from this book, supposed to know what question mark is?Lots of exercises are printed of both pages, so again, the child needs to revert the pages to find matching picture. Also, I thought it was a book for preschoolers, but there so much cutting, that none 3year-old, and many 4year olds wouldn’t do on their own.It would be so much better, to have exercises printed on 1 page, and perforated, so the child could tear-off.1 extra star, for helpful introduction with description of the reading/writing learning process, and the idea for progressive exercises. This helped me a lot to create my own exercises…Overall, sorry, but I wouldn’t buy again.

I have not given these to my Great Grandchildren but will do so soon. The books are for two families.I’m sure they will be wonderful! 🥰

Great learning to read book for my pre-schooler, would also work for kindergarten.

My son is enjoyibg every step of this book. He had fun tracing the letters with his finger and he would trace the letters with color pencils as well. He is having a great time with it! He is writing words on his own. We both like to color in the pictures together. Some parts are really hard to cut with scissors. I used a box cutter instead. It was fast and easy. I would definitely buy this again.
