Tasty bread even when compared to gluten bread
This bread is phenomenal (for store bought bread) even when you compare it to brands of bread that are made with wheat flour. It is a bit pricey, but you’ve got to pay to play. Every other gluten-free store bought brand I’ve tried tastes like hot cardboard or weird popcorn and I have tried quite a few. The bread is vacuum sealed inside the bag and the expiration date is on the inner bag so you can be sure there is no funny business and you’re getting (relatively) fresh bread. This bread is so good that my girlfriend who can eat gluten keeps stealing it. It’s so good that if I survive this pandemic, I would try to get a tour of the factory. I can’t attest to the shelf life of an opened package, because I normally open it and then throw it in the freezer so I don’t have to consume it in a short period of time, but the package does instruct you to refrigerate it after opening. So if you like eating your bread un-toasted, you better be prepared to eat it in the first sitting, eat it at around 40 degrees F, or look elsewhere. Speaking of which, it’s phenomenal toasted with butter and it makes decent grilled cheeses too.

Schar MultiGrain, Best All Round GF Bread I Ever Purchased, Excellent Value
Delivery was fast! Reasonably priced. The texture was just like multigrain made with wheat flour. It had a soft chewable crust and tasted like multigrain made with wheat flour, no after taste or odor at all. It comes vacuum sealed, so it is fresh when I open it. It also freezes and thaws very well. It is the best Gluten Free Bread I have ever had for both toast and sandwiches. Fantastic Job Schar!

Best Gluten Free Bread Yet
I am celiac and have tried a great number of gluten free breads, both frozen and packaged. None of them were very good. So I decided to do without bread. I missed my sandwiches and toast and was resigned to a life without them. Then I discovered Schar's multigrain bread. Here is a product that comes close to wheat based breads in texture (moist not dry) and size (slices are about 3" x 3"). No mushy cornmeal feeling once you start chewing and it tastes ok. Plus it has a long shelf life. The ingredients are "all natural" and a partial listing includes rice starch, agave syrup, flax seeds, apple fiber, quinoa flour, psyllium seed husk, buck wheat flour, sunflower seeds, apple juice concentrate and honey. Rather singular combination of ingredients. And no chemicals or preservatives. So Schar gets my vote as the best gluten free bread I have yet tried. I think I'll go make myself a sandwich...

Gluten Free Bread
Item was as described, tasted better than other brands! Very happy to have this bread on hand; it is very good toasted with tuna on it. Top with lettuce or cut up cucumber.

OK GF bread and no tapioca flour!
This is an OK GF bread. But not stellar. It's a bit stiff and flavor is just OK. On a positive note, it has NO tapioca flour!
