Eat Your Way to Life and Health: Unlock the Power of the Holy Communion Review: Life-Changing! And not JUST about healing... - So, the title of this book sounds like click-bait. But at the same time, it's all true and really, there's even more to it than that simple title can summarize! I actually enjoyed this book more and more as I went along. When I first started reading, it felt like it was a few sermons turned into a gift book. But the more I read, the more I saw the slow detailed teaching expanding on the understanding of holy Communion. And even though this book *is* about taking communion to receive healing (at its most basic level), as I read I forgot it was about healing. Because it was really about JESUS. It was about how Jesus loves (LIKE REALLY LOVES) us so much. How his death on the cross didn't just buy us a ticket to heaven. But how Jesus, the Son of God, loves me (currently!) and died for MY complete wholeness, for MY full redemption from sin and the world. This book was really beautiful, full of Scripture, personal testimonies and as I read, my main emotion was RELIEF. It was a relief to read about how much God loves us--how He desires good for us. It's so simple but I think it's easy to think that we're just supposed to trouble through life alone and hope maybe thru the roll of some holy dice, we'll catch a break every once in awhile. Holy Communion is not just a tradition that's held on from ancient times. It's not just a simple act we do at church once a month. It is PROCLAIMING what Jesus did on the cross--to our spirit, soul and body. And to the enemy. Because of reading this book, I've started taking Communion daily with my regular Bible reading. Not as a ritual or magic steps, but as an act of faith, a reenactment and like a banner waving in front of my life showing off the supremacy and greatness of Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross. I always measure spiritual books on what my response is afterwards--do I love Jesus more? Do I want to dive into Scripture anew? If so, it's a worthy book. THIS is one of those books. I can see some people being skeptical because they have an aversion to the "health-and-wealth gospel". I say, read this book and look up the Scriptures. See how God speaks to you. Regardless, taking a step to recognize Communion as more than juce-and-crackers will be a life-changing step in your spiritual life. "The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is MY BODY, which is FOR YOU, do this in REMEMBRANCE of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the NEW COVENANT IN MY BLOOD; do this whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." (2 Corinthians 11) Review: 💞💞💞 Eat Your Way to Life and Health by Joseph Prince 💞💞💞 - Excellent book! I read this book a little at a time to absorb its contents. I would read a chapter, put it down, come back later and so on. I advise you to take your time to absorb what you read and not rush through as it has a lot to ponder on. Joseph Prince tells us to take communion as often as we want. We can do this at home in the privacy of our own home. You alone with the Lord, or with your family as a group. The juice/wine/water and wafer/cracker doesn’t matter which you choose. As long as you don’t get drunk, just a little bit of wine will suffice. It can be red or white wine. The elements aren’t important, what is important is that you pray, and intently ponder on how much Jesus suffered on the cross. Spend time with the Lord doing this as you give Him your ailments and you receive health and are cleansed of your sins. Focus not on your affliction, but on Jesus and the cross. This is crucial. You may want to Google “Anatomical and physiological details of death by crucifixion” so that you will have an idea of how much Jesus suffered on the cross, add to that Jesus taking on our sins and diseases, past, present, and future. The difference between giving someone a cold or flu, they catch it but you’re still sick, and tossing someone a ball, they catch it, and you no longer have it. So giving the Lord your afflictions is like tossing a ball, as you give the Lord your sickness, you no longer have it, you’re completely healed. I just started taking communion at home and can’t wait for my healing to manifest. I am already healed. The manifestation is surely coming. Praise the Lord! 😇 🙏 PS, I bought the accompanying 90 day devotional book to follow daily with the Holy Communion. It’s an excellent book as well. And it’s very helpful to meditate on the Lord.

Professional Review
I've purchased four copies of this book, but I only own one. The book I was originally going to review for this week on my blog, Oh Bless It!, fell through and I immediately thought of Pastor Joseph Prince's book. I had not intended to review it, not because I couldn't give it a 5-star rating, but because I was feeling completely unqualified to do so. But God doesn't call just the qualified. Here's the review from my blog, Oh Bless It!: Not being tied to a deadline, I took my time getting through this book. My husband doesn't typically enjoy sitting and reading, but loves learning new things and discovering new depths of God's goodness. To bridge the gap, we spent some time in the evenings in which I would read aloud, we would discuss, and then we would partake in the holy Communion. As far as having devotional time shared with your spouse, I highly recommend it! The benefits for your relationship are huge and far-reaching. When it comes to religious books, I do not recommend them when they are not in complete agreement with scripture. That being said, I highly recommend this book. Pastor Joseph Prince walks us through the holy Communion, scripture by scripture, detailing what was accomplished. One of the many blessings resulting from Jesus' sacrifice was healing and I'm absolutely convinced that healing is for today. There's so much that we gained through Jesus' death and resurrection, but many churches have put their sole focus on salvation and have stopped there. Because I picked up this book, I have a whole new appreciation for what used to be a mere ritual. From the Old Testament we're given a detailed encounter with the first Passover and are shown how they so intricately connect with our Passover Lamb. The holy Communion is not about religious ritual, but about deepening relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Many discount healing for a multitude of reasons, one of which being a "lack" of faith. We are reminded that Faith is nothing more than looking to Jesus - I think that's something we can all benefit from. We can also benefit from scripture after scripture pointing back to Jesus, His faithfulness, what He accomplished on the cross, and what we're privileged to partake in. The depths of this book are too great to try to compact into a review here. Plus, I wouldn't want to spoil some of the details that we often miss when reading through scriptures that Pastor Joseph Prince brings to his readers' attention. Joseph Prince is clear in stating that the holy Communion is not about bread or crackers, wine or juice, but about focusing on what hung on the cross with Jesus - it was every sin, every illness... every curse. Order your copy of this book today and start walking in what Jesus paid the ultimate price for. You have nothing to lose and your health to gain.
