Take Two Interactive Spec Ops: The Line - Xbox 360

Spec Ops The Line is definitely a shooter unlike most that have come out recently. Instead of putting in a half-baked simple action focused plot, The Line takes inspiration from "Heart of Darkness" and its movie adaptation "Apocalypse Now" to tell an extremely dark, morally grey story that shows how brutal and unforgiving war can actually be. The game-play itself though is pretty standard. It's a third person cover based shooter in which you pop in out of cover to shoot enemies. So nothing special there. The A.I. is competent for the most part. Your companion A.I. is pretty solid as they can help you out of tough fire fights and sometimes save you when you make a blunder and end up in the open with a shot-gunner or something. Enemy A.I. is hit and miss however. While they use cover fairly well and put up a challenge, sometimes they can kind of stand out in the open for a bit to allow you to finish em off. I didn't play the multiplayer so I can't really make a judgment there but I've heard from other reviewers that it's pretty lackluster. So while The Line has average game-play and (supposedly) lame multiplayer, the single player campaign is great and has a story that will stick with you for a long time. It also offers a couple different endings depending on in game choices so there's definite replay value. Overall, whether you're a fan of shooters or not, I say check this game out. Especially since it's only about $30 at this point.

Great game. I was pointed to it when I mentioned that I have a hard time playing military type shooters because I feel bad about shooting a race of people based on the "official story" posed by the government. I went in to the game knowing there was going to be some decisions I would have to make. I won't spoil the ending, but it was a good shooter with a good story. Aside from getting the achievements for using different weapons try to hold on to your main gun, the M4A1. You lose it occasionally but it's one of the best guns in the game until you get to the last couple chapters. Also there's one with a grenade launcher that's pretty good, but don't get too attached to it because the ammo is hard to find.

The game arrived in pristine condition.For the game itself it tells an amazing story of three special ops soldiers witnessing how people react in situations where they now that they are going to die.

This game it's a very good game indeed an excellent one, has a high cuality of graphics details, good story and also a great variety of stages. For those who loves action games this one is a good choise.

I had seen this game advertised on "Watch Mojo.com" 's youtube page. They had good things to say, so I gave it a try. Sadly, I wasn't that impressed. I was disappointed with the gun play, and plot. As time went on, it almost crossed into the surreal. There were a some emotional moments and dramatic effect. I played through once, and will now find someone to donate it to or swap with. Even as I played though the first time I was thinking that there would be no replay value, and still feel that way. If you like inexpensive shooting games, enjoy, but don't have high expectations.

Very solid game. decent variety of weapons available as well as a decent story line to keep you hooked and interested.

Boring storylineI know 2k can make better games.Well, it was great that I bought a used one for a great price.
