Its Fine, going to replace one that I've been using for 5 years, that sometimes shows E, not sure if the problem is the gauge, wiring or the sender but for the price the gauge is the quickest thing to replace.

Gages work great, but you must be very careful when drilling the holes for mounting, use 2" hole saw and be precise, there is not much lip on the bezel and the gage will not fit properly in an oversized hole. The wire gage is very small, I had to soldier bullet connectors on because the wire didn't want to hold with just a crimp connector.

Use this on old 1963 Gas tractor to replace original gauge that locked up. Had to cut and make wire connections for all conductors as this new gauge did not use terminals for the connections. Small wires easy to work but existing wire has much thicker and had limited length. When turned on, gauge is different. when 12 vdc hits it, if vibrates then the needle shots up. When tractor started it goes up another 1/8 due to voltage going from 12 -13.5. Accuracy is acceptable. Tank was just over 1/2 when installed. I siphoned out the gas and the gauge did go to E. As long as I know when it is at E I am happy. Gauge likes to stay at E until if figures out where to go. Moves too fast for a gas gauge.

I bought this because it matched the style of the other gages on the boat not because it was cheap (or not). All I can say is it is wildly inaccurate yielding different levels each time it is turned on. Not happy but can’t really return since I had to cut the bracket that holds it in place. The bracket was way too long to fit.

I installed this in a1990 Buick as a total retrofit from a digital dash it was a simple and fast, the wiring leads furnished are long enough to splice with the wiring harness lighting circuit the backlight on the gauge makes it clear and easy to read.

This is the second gauge I have tried to use (both E-ling). These come in a couple of OHM ranges, that you should try to match to the fuel sending unit. I thought I did have the units matched, but the first one only goes to the full mark when started and doesn't drop as the fuel is used. I'm thinking I may have the wrong range, so I bought a second gauge with the higher range. I haven't installed it yet, so I can't say if that was the problem or not. Just giving a heads up to future buyers to check you gauge and sending unit so the match.
