I like everything about this boat bow to trailer safety chain.

I bought a used boat that did not come with one of these. This solved that problem. Exactly as described. Make sure to buy a D chain link as well to connect to your trailer.

Probably a little dinky in my opinion for a 20 ft 2600 lbs boat, to no fault of the manufacturer of course, but all the same in theory it should never see that kind of weight or shock if I do my part right and keep my winch maintained. Almost a little too short for my application....another 6 inches would be perfect for most any trailer I'd think.

Short chain with thin links, be very aware what you are buying. I am using this for a PWC as an extra measure to hook it at the bow in case the strap snaps when driving. I would only suggest this for PWC's or very small boat's.

My boat did not have a safety chain, this solved that problem right away.

They last for a few years in salt water environment before rusting, this is my second one I've ordered. About a foot long.
