They fit the stock bumper well, and once you hook up five wires (four each side): ground, taillights+, brakes+ and turn signals+, these inserts choreograph well with the high-mounted tail / turn / stop lights on the GX470. They animate - leds light laterally in sequence - when you first press the brakes, or when the turn signal is activated. They brighten with brakes applied. The total of five brakes lights really helps visibility, especially in the fog.I might not have done this mod by itself, but in conjunction with removing the bumper cover for any other reason, it is a nice upgrade. I was already fitting new bumper covers to add parking sensors and repaint, so these lights added some nice bling and function.

After one week of installation and after several days of rain notice that the light was filled with water and sections of the light was not working, burn out. Very disappointed on the product performance and quality.

Suggestions: 1) definitely waterproof with silicone 2) wiring diagram should be included

Awesome factory fit, bright & strobes perfectly with indicators or hazard lights. Changes the look drastically.

Some sections has less light in it. Didn't last as long as I'd hope because half of one stopped working.

These things are awesome once you figure out the wiring...some instructions letting you know what wire did what would have been nice but just a minor setback as it’s not too hard to figure out.

It’s a bit of a job to remove The entire rear bumper and rear panel to access the areas to work in, once I’ve got them installed and wired up they looked and worked great for one day! They claimed units are waterproof, I mean you’re putting them on a car that gets wet in the rain people wash their cars and people go to a car wash. I had them one day I went to the car wash the very next day and they shorted out because they filled with water if you look at the photographs you could see the droplets of water inside the casing they shorted out and they caused electrical problems for my car. I had to unfortunately remove my whole bumper again and rear panel which was a major job and I was very disappointed. Until these things are waterproof or you could waterproof them somehow I Would look for a different set.
