Does this pump overheat and require a fan?

More water in the unit will help it run cooler, I also put a timer on the pump and run it 15 min on then 15 mins off and I set it to do this 24 hrs a day, this really keeps it from getting too warm.

Does this work for tree cuttings as well? I see a lot of one particular plant being cloned, just wondering if it's going to work as well for others.

Trees are very tough to clone with limited success. Something like roses, tomatoes, peppers , basil etc will clone easily with consistent 100% success rates.

Is there different size collar holes available? i need 2" collar holes to work for my system.
