Q: What's the difference between a range bag and a patrol bag?

I'm not completely sure, but I believe a range bag is mainly made to be used for gun range materials like ammo, ear and eye protection, magazines and etc. Whereas a patrol bag is made to hold items that you may need working a law enforcement shift like pockets for gloves, notebooks, pens, handcuffs, flashlights and the like.

Personally speaking, many probies get this bag either in the beginning of their academy, or after the other bag they got at the academy gets run down. Either way, this is an accepted bag within the academy, and has been proven reliable
