This set of wrenches are a great buy. They are quality tools with a great price. The best thing is that you have a wide range of sizes in standard and metric. I work on farm equipment so this set is perfect.

I got this open box from amz warehouse and it was basically like new. Incredible, nearly compete set of wrenches from small to very large. I love the generous format length of the wrenches. You won’t believe that you’re getting the large sizes like 1.25 1.5 30mm 32mm. These are like $20 ea. The largest (1 1/2in) is nearly 20 in long! These probably aren’t the worlds best quality tools but they are fantastic initial quality and lifetime mfg warranty. Really impressed. Somehow I managed to get all of them arranged in a 19x22 drawer in my workbench-type tool chest. Win!

This product has been the best wrenches I have used. One small gripe is the machining was not 100% clean, small scuff and chips when arrived( box was turn up), but nothing that would effect the integrity and operation of the tools. I can say with first hand experience, I go to see the shear load that these wrenches can take. I had to remove a 6ft moist eliminator filter and the forks for the for lift could not get close enough to lift the lid. So used 2 wrenches and put them horizontal and was able to lift the element up. I would say at least 120 lbs.

The good:The wrenches seem to hold up as well as a typical large wrench, no breakage in my use so far.There is an odd not too well ground dish like section on the open end part of the wrench for relief when turning hex fasteners. Seems like a good idea that is poorly described by Gearwrench marketing. You'd think they would extol this as a virtue more lucidly. At first I thought this ground out divot was a manufacturing defect, but it is on all the wrenches, plated, and consistently positioned.The not as good:These are made in China, not Taiwan. It shows. Fit and finish is better than typical Chinese fab, significantly poorer than Taiwanese fab. My wrenches arrived brand new with brown hard to remove spatters on several wrenches, did not seem to affect the plating or use, but for the Gearwrench price I expect better. The plating has a few imperfections typical of Chinese fabs, not related to the brown spatters. Wrench shape is typical for Gearwrench.No where is there any evidence of what alloy these are. Usually wrenches like these are CrV, the only commentary is "alloy steel" (which is almost anything described as steel except straight up carbon steel)-- no CrV on box, in Gearwrench text, or on the wrenches as of this date. This is slightly concerning about the strength and ductility of the wrenches, I don't want a brittle wrench in this size. Meeting the stated industry spec, if you trust Chinese companies to do so which might be the case with Gearwrench watching the supplier, is a plus.I needed the wrenches and bought the name, but if I had known more I might have bought a different brand or even saved half the price and risked buying straight up Chinese wrenches.

I have been using this wrench set for several months now. They have seen a lot of use and I am very happy with them. I received all of the sizes that I was supposed to and they don't skip any sizes until they get up into the really large wrenches. They do offer the large sizes that are skipped individually for a reasonable price if you find that you need those sizes. I did and I bought all of them. The chrome finish is very nice and the build quality is great. The length is a bit longer than standard length wrenches and I like the extra leverage but I have still used a cheater bar on some of them which they handled with no problems. The ends are a little bulky compared to hogher priced wrenches like Snap=On but lets face it, they are nowhere near the same price. You would only be able to buy the one biggest wrench in this set from Snap=On for the price of all 44 of these. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again if the need arose, I don't think you will find a better wrench for the price.

Work well, look nice yet to bend or break anything. Works on semi's.

This is a great wrench set. For the price it is very complete and the organizer is great. They don't grip like a snap-on but you don't have to sell a kidney to get them.
