New AC Power Adapter Charger for Nintendo DSi NDSi

Lost mine on the day of the Ambassador game release for those who bought it early... You can beat I was upset! I had a friend who kept telling me I should buy an official charger for brand and safety, but honestly, I'm a college student and darn it, I don't have money for that and I want my games! So I bought two of these, each just under four bucks and they work beautifully~ The part that connects to the wall outlet is black, instead of gray, which is great because now I can tell mine apart from others~ I'm going overseas next week so I'll update this.. Until then.. WOOT!! //UPDATE::. So I found the actual charger XD Go figure. That aside, on to this charger: - Works with the 3DS dock - Charges in the same amount of time as regular charger (roughly 3 hours) - Changes well overseas~ Well, South Korea anyway >:o //UPDATE 2::. I realize there are many sellers to this item, so each experience will vary depending on who ships out what generic product. My item still works great! And I use it quite often as well. I have to say that when I bought this I was fairly nervous that it would arrive broken and I would have wasted the week I spent waiting for it to arrive. However, I am surprised and thankful to admit that so far, (it's been a little more than a month) it has worked perfectly for charging my DSi. As far as I can tell, it works just as well as the official Nintendo charger, just much less expensive. I recommend this to anyone looking for a DSi charger, since it seems to be the same thing as the much more expensive official one.

I'm not entirely sure how many stars to give this product ... I opened the package expecting what is pictured, and instead it was a black charger that looked entirely different than Nintendo's product. I ordered this charger after buying http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PIY49O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (which didn't work from the start), and returning it. I decided to try it out and see if it worked, and as soon as I plugged it in it started charging. No fuss, no messing with anything, it worked perfectly. It's not the grey standard charger, but for most people it works better: the plug still folds flat, but it goes vertically instead of horizontally, so it could stand up in a small space on a power strip (where mine is), fold "flat" against the wall, or anywhere in between. It's not what I expected and probably not what I would have purchased, but I'm glad to have it and would buy it again.

Charger works, cord is WAY too short however... we're talking MAYBE 2.5, 3 feet at most. Good price, decent construction and a good buy for a replacement cord if you cannot find another one at a decent price in your local area. Be advised, it does ship from overseas so it'll take a bit.

My local Gamestop has more and more stupid rules every time I go there. I tried trading in my DSi XL for a New 3DS XL (which doesn't come with an adapter.) They wouldn't take it because I didn't have the adapter on me because I saved it for the New 3DS XL that didn't come with it. So instead of paying 10 bucks and totally killing the value of my trade-in, I went to Amazon and found this adapter. It's super inexpensive and does the job. Now I can trade in the DSi XL and get credit toward something nice. Sweet!

Works great for my NDSi and N3DS. I'd recommend it for sure. It fits good and is just like the one that comes with the DS systems. If you need a charger for your Nintendo DSi, DSiXL, or 3DS, get this. It's under $4, and in the store they are like $10, and sometimes you can find them on sale for like $5, but might as well get this and save yourself a trip to the store.

I needed a new charger for my Nintendo DsiXl, and thought i'd snag one of these, since the price was DEFINITELY right. I got about a week after I ordered it, and it works like a dream! I've not had ANY problems with it. If you need a good charger, i'd strongly recommend this one.

These are rather low quality chargers. I bought two assuming they would be. I can't use my 3DS while charging on this because of the many shorts in both of the cords. But other than that, it does charge your 3DS when not using.
