Zoofen Replacement Luggage Wheel Suitcase Repair Spinner Wheels Luggage Accessories (W149)

My suitcase wheel broke. Amazon had a large selection of replacement wheels. They gave precise measurements of the distance of the holes to screw on the new wheel. My new wheel works great!

I bought the wheels for a Samsonite suitcase in October 2024. I was suprised at how easy the replacement was to do, I just took my first trip with the suitcase and the new wheel worked great even with a 25 kg load. The replacement wheels saved me buying a whole new suitcase.(There are many different replacement wheels on Amazon -- just measure the wheels to be certain that they are the right size.)

I make a trip to Europe every few years and have a suitcase I only use for these trips, so it is not often used. Last time I wore one of the wheels down to the nub after an encounter with a particularly sharp hole in a cobblestone street while pulling my spinner behind.After reading a number of reviews from purchasers that were happy even though they had to work at making the new wheel fit, I was willing to try the same. After measuring my old wheel carefully, I ordered the closest match. The holes did not quite match but were able to drill new ones. Outside, the curved lip fit over the corner just fine. The screws were too short but found some we had that worked fine.The suitcase is now ever so slightly off kilter, but rolls fine. We will go ahead and replace the other one on the same side to make it even when pulling it behind me. It will work great for a suitcase being used only once every few years.

I had three pieces of luggage that were stored in the attic. After about 20 years, we noticed the wheels scratching our hardwood floors. They were all cracked. Bought these replacements and changed them out. The first pair I ordered didn’t work for our luggage, I measured again and reordered. These worked great.

The bolt hole dimensions shown on the pictures are not correct. What is shown as 3.4cm and 3.7cm is actually 3.2cm and 3.5cm (centerline of the holes). They are an exact replacement for the wheels on my Atlantic suitcase. That may mean that they only last 4 trips again, but we will see!

Problem is the length and width of the main assembly are not provided in the description or photos. After measuring, this product is .5cm too short on each side . My Delsey bag’s dims match the product description, but not the omitted dims . Specifically, my assembly is 7 x 7.5cm , this product is 6.5 x 7cm

I think these wheels would work great if you knew how to measure correctly. I was pretty sure I did that, but turned out that the outside part with the wheel attached was overall too small to fit around the corners of the luggage, and also the screws that came with the replacement wheels were too short to reach thru the luggage material. The outer edge of the luggage corner areas didn't align, there's a lip that has to fit because the plastic is hard and sort of needs to sort of "click" onto the corner of the outside of the luggage. So there ended up being a gap along the outer edge of the new wheel bracket where it wasn't quite big enough to reach over the lip. The measurements of distance between the screws on the old and new brackets were pretty much exactly right. There's no real way to figure that out ahead of time if you don't have a lot of experience.

I was glad to find replacement spinner wheels for my Samsonite, as Samsonite does not carry them. I measured carefully to ensure a good fit, but there was one edge/lip that follows the edge of the suitcase that made the replacement process a bit tedious - I had to put some physical force into making sure the new wheels fit over that edge/lip and screw holes matched up within the body of the suitcase. There's an inner plastic support piece that's included with the replacement wheels but they were unusable due to the fit within my suitcase, so I reused the original ones (which worked out fine).I can't attest to the sturdiness and durability of the replacement wheels just yet - that will be the test for the next trip (particularly to a locale with cobblestone streets!). But the value was very good - I saved money by not having to buy a whole new large Samsonite suitcase just because of the wheels. My suitcase was in great condition aside from the worn spinner wheels.
