MOUNTAINTOP 40L Hiking Backpack,Lightweight Travel Backpack with Rain Cover for Outdoor Backpacking, Camping

Gave my Teton 75L to my son and bought this instead. It is very sturdy with quality hardware and the bottom strap holds a mat and sleeping bag! I put a large folding stove, pots/pan set, and my essentials in and it fits right and comfortably.Nice bag for my scoliosis. It’s not allowing me too much weight and it’s easy to adjust so I’m comfortable.

Ordered this in black/pink and was pleasantly surprised. So far I've used it for a day hike and it was quite comfortable. It held all of the necessary items without being too bulky. I didn't overload it as it was a day hike, but it seemed like it could handle a lot more than the few items I packed. It seems like good quality and there were no rips or tears. The pocket on the hip straps was convenient; however, it will not fit an iPhone 12 Pro. So keep that in mind if you have a phone similar in size. The main pockets have a lot of space. The back is on the stiff side and if you have a smaller frame like I do (and another reviewer), it might rub against your neck. I'm 5'4" and I almost had that problem. The straps are thick and were comfortable for the 3 hours I had the backpack on. As another review mentioned, the whistle isn't that great. You have to really find the right angle for it to work correctly and even then, I feel like it could be louder. The backpack did come with the rain cover in the pocket on the bottom. I haven't tried it yet, but it's in there (as others have asked if it comes with a rain cover). Overall it's a great purchase and so far it's working out!

Great size and quality

Doesn’t include rain cover. Seems pretty good after just receiving it. But, sadly, it does not include the rain cover and doesn’t have the little pocket to store a rain cover. Perhaps an earlier version of this product did include the small pocket and the rain cover but this 40L model I purchased does not. So a little disappointed by that. The product description doesn’t reference the rain cover, but some of the reviews and Q&A do which led me to believe it was included.

Bought this for a 6-week trek through Europe just days before we were leaving, and I was really hoping that it would be a good fit for me. I'm 5'4" about 135 lbs. It hit me just right on the waist to shift the load, wasn't hot on my back, and was very balanced with plenty of room for things. Other reviewers mentioned how deep the pocket was, and I think it could be a bit better if it zipped further down, but for the price, this thing is a near-perfect backpack solution.

I've been trecking for over 50 years and I simply don't know how you can build a pack of this caliber and only charge 50 plus dollars.An outstanding product all around.

This is a sturdy comfortable pack for day hiking. Has plenty of pockets. Straps don’t rub or cause pressure sores.

Great size, perfect for using as carryon on plane. Fit everything needed for a weeks trip.
