7 Inch Tapered Flex Fillet Fishing Knife

What a great fillet knife! Very solid in the hand, easy to grip, sharp as it can be and easy to clean. The only caveat to a future buyer is that make sure you're buying this for the type of fish you fillet. Most of the fishing that I do involves small mouth bass averaging 10-12 inches (at least what we usually catch). The size of this knife might be a bit big for that kind of catch as I found out where a smaller knife might be easier to manipulate. But overall this is a great product and I recommend it whole-heartedly

What do you do when you come home from a day of fishing with a 30" salmon and no idea of how to fillet it and no fillet knife in your kitchen? You hit youtube for instructional videos and then go to Amazon to order the same knife in the video! Thank you, same day delivery! I like the grip, it felt very secure and safe while I filleted the salmon. The blade was sharp -- enough so that I ended up shredding the towel I had put on the counter under the salmon, oops! The 7" blade was easy to manage (although I probably could have used a longer blade for this size of fish). I ended up with lovely fillets for the freeze, not bad for a newbie. The price point was good, too.

I am very happy with this purchase! The handle is a perfect fit and easy to grip, no slipping while cleaning fish. The blade is the best combination of flex and sturdiness. Got to use it the day after I received it to clean a decent sized channel catfish. Very sharp right out of the box and seems to hold the edge well. The sheath is sturdy and holds the knife tight. I would definitely recommend this knife to any fisherman!

As a caterer, I trim a ton of briskets and pig butts a week. There is no other knife on the market, that I have found, that has the flexibility, large grip handle, fine trimming accuracy, and can hold a sharp edge for a long duration!! Excellent knife all around, I will not ever NOT have one!

i realized i lost my fillet knife somewhere and needed another one. this has a sharp edge, and is flexible enough to work well on small fish fillets. Like the plastic carrying case, as it protects the knife edge in my drawer. i do not yet know how durable the edge/metallurgy is

Tested out this knife the day after I received it. Works beautifully; I had a nice Walleye dinner this evening, and my fish cleaning time was cut in half.
