Cannot complain about the quality or fit. I have a massive, mishappen head and this works like a charm. My oversized noze is close to poking through the vent in the front. However, if you are not evolved from mountain Yetis, like I was, this may run a bit big. My father is a dirty bird for copulating with massive, hairy beasts.I used some gold and silver paint markers to touch up the details. Some poor Chinese sweat shop worker was probably painting this while being beaten with a yeti femur.Great costume. My wife dressed like Catwoman and my son was the Dark Knight. We looked great. My wife and I had some awkward superhero nookie, but it was no fault of the mask itself.

Before purchasing this item I read other reviews, so I was prepared for the problems that have been mentioned. The mask arrived quickly, and most of the things that people complained about did exist. The mask is very large (and I, like many others who have reviewed this product, have a large head). The paint job is very crappy. The back part of the mask has a crease from being folded up in the packaging that kind of stays even when you put it on. I was prepared for these problems, though, and I just cut away some of the mask and superglued it back together so that it fit my head better. I also got some paint of my own to touch up the crappy paint job. Finally, putting something in the mouth part of the mask to push it away from your face a bit helps a lot too. Furthermore, I didn't find the rubber uncomfortable or too hard. The slits in the front of the mask do help for ease of breathing. The problems are there, but easily fixed if you're willing to put a little time/effort and a few more dollars into improving the mask yourself. Considering that and the low price of the mask (I honestly was expecting a "cheap" mask to cost closer to $40 or $50) I'm giving it about 3 stars. Not horrible, but definitely has some drawbacks.

Ok, I have been looking for a Bane mask for some time now. I tried the 2 different CoserX versions the painted and unpainted. The painted version was super tight and the top part that goes overhead was uncomfortable. The unpainted version was unbearably right around the jaw and mouth. Mind you I wear a 7 5/8 fitted hat comfortably, so my head is large but not huge.As a last ditch attempt I took a chance on this one because if the couple good reviews among the numerous negative. Well I got it today and couldn't be more pleased!!! Yes it's typical Halloween mask material, not the rigid rubber CoserX uses. And, yes the paint is not 100% perfect. However, it is very spot on to the movie mask! It's just the accuracy of the painting goes outside the lines on some parts. I fitting just slightly loose is great!!! Very comfortable, I can breath and move easily! Doesn't leave any marks on my head or face like the other 2 either. I'm not a Cosplay contestant so the very sutble imperfections do not bother me one bit. Plus, if you are into Cosplay shouldn't you be making your own original creation and not buying a prefabricated mask anyway?Bottom line, the negatives others have posted, are positives for me. It stays in place just fine while being totally comfortable. The durability seems to be just like any other Halloween mask, if you don't totally abuse it, it will no doubt last years to come. I have masks I saved from childhood made from the same material that still for just fine. Not to mention it cost almost 75% less than the other 2! I recommend this mask for any anyone non competitive.

I was quite surprised at the quality of the mask when it arrived. I had imagined from the picture posted, that it would be this elaborate hard plastic mask that could easily be disassembled. To my pleasant surprise it is actually made of a soft latex like rubber that clings to your skin in one piece. The advantage of the rubber is that it won't tare or break in demonstrations or staged battles with the Dark Knight himself. For some it maybe disappointing that the mouthpiece isn't hard plastic or a cheap metal. If you want something as authentic as what Tom Hardy wore in the film, you will have to search eBay. This however, is a great twenty dollar substitute!
