OK mealworms, good size.
I have been feeding my chickens mealworms for a few years now and they usually love them. I had to switch brands because Amazon said the brand I usually get was under review. These worms smelled very strongly when I opened them up and continued with the smell for at least a month. My chickens will eat the worms, but not quickly and not as much as the other brands I used, which means they really do not like them. I will not be buying this brand again, even if I have to go back to Walmart or the feed stores and pay more for the other brands. I gave this product 3 stars because they were packaged ok and the mealworms are large.

Gone Crazy!
My chicken is CRAZY for these meal worms! When molting, broody or just plain moody and turns her prim beak up to [will not eat] all other feed & treats, she'll gobble these down like candy! Then, miraculously, as if the worms wet her appetite, she'll eat her other food! As a side note, it is awfully cute to see her get so excited over worms - ha! "Go eat worms" is no longer a negative term around my little ranch!

a. k. a "Chicken Crack. " My ...
a.k.a "Chicken Crack." My chucks and ducks come running when they hear me shake these (I keep them in a little covered Tupperware dish). They gobble them up right out of my hand, and even let me pet them when I give them these. Other times: no treats, no pets... But, from a health standpoint, their feathers are very healthy and shiny, and soft! Not sure if it's the added protein, but, regardless, I won't be without worms for my girls. From a cost perspective, these are the cheapest I have found, anywhere.

Crack for chickens....... be prepared for a stampede!!! ;D
Like crack for chickens.......they're totally addicted to these now!!! They all come running when they hear the bag crackle or if i shake a container with them in it. The smell of these things is a bit gnarly but what can one expect from dried worms? They are totally dry and airy, and thus crumble or break very easily but not a problem as the chickens will eat them in any form ;} I use them as treats but also to help tame and train the chicks/pullets and they'll do anything i ask if they get these for rewards :}.

Good quality, good price, chicks love them!
We feed these to our chickens as treats. They LOVE them. The feed store carries dried meal worms, but the cost per pound is much higher. These are good quality full-sized dried meal worms (not a bunch of little pieces, waste, etc.). When we eventually run out, I will get these again.

Mealworms what can I say
Dried meal worms are great. The chickens love them. The wild birds are getting used to them. The squirrels well they love them they use the jungle gym I made out of my bird feeder to get more. . Even the little chipmunks will go for them if they fall to the ground

My Guineans didn't like them as much as the ones I bought before (I call them chook crack, 'cause they would do ANYthing to get them)I asked around & friends told me it was because they come from China where they treat them. With what I don't know.BUT!Now the weather is colder & my girls are hunkered down for the LONG, VERY COLD winter, they seem to like them. That being said, I will probably buy them again until I can get brave enough to start growing my own. (Eeww, but cheap)Sure beats the $5 for 7 oz bags from the big W*M or especially the local (20 miles away!) feed store.

They love them. My hens know what time of day ...
I feed these daily to my free ranging chickens. They love them. My hens know what time of day they are getting their mealworm treat and come running to me to get them. I feed them dried mealworms year round but give them more when the hens are molting and during the cold months when there aren't many bugs in the yard to eat. Great product and the 5 lbs. package keeps me from ordering frequently.
