The image does look like cable is braided which it is not. In fact the cable seems frail but has held up so far. The sound is good as you would expect from Kicker. Lows and bass are deep and highs and treble are crisp. Bought as a in ear gaming ear bud but is really made for music. Handel's high volume with no distortion and over all happy. Not quite a gaming ear bud but does the trick. Would recommend more for a casual to novice headphone for Music lovers. The mic does work like much other head phones I've purchased but nothing to rage about. Lack of mute ir volume control for this price is not expected. These are the more premium ear bud from the other options from kicker. Would of liked some type of bonus for the difference in price. PROS: Overall nor bad for a 10mm driver, and sound goodCons frail cable and lack of controls

As someone who grew up in the car audio scene, I was of course familiar with Kicker. In the day they made extremely good amps and subwoofers. As such, I was more prone to give these headphones a chance. I have bought several other headphones at this price point before, to use doing projects around the house, and have been either disappointed by the sound quality or the fitment of these other headphones. I am very happy with how these headphones fit and stay in place when I am moving around. I am also happy with the sound quality. I think it will take some time for me personally to get used to having the cable around the back of my neck, but that is a small issue. The only other issue I will mention here is that these can sound a little muddy at lower volume, but that can be solved with the EQ settings in Music (iphone). I assume there is a similar solution for Android users, but I am unfamiliar with those devices. For the price I gave (~$35), I don't think I could find a better sound that would also fit with my ears. If you have had similar issues I would suggest you give these a try.

Up to now I have tested 6 different earbuds including JBL Reflect Mini BT, Jabra Elit, and some other hard-wired ones. Even I really do not like the color, to be honest, the performance is what I was looking for my skating and sport sessions.Jazz, Blues, and rock are based on deep bass sounds from the "bass" and drums, therefore I can not stand performances not focused on the bass like the others I have tested.In terms of comfort, even the other mentioned brands had also soft silicone ear tips in three different sizes, none of them were good enough for me, it does not mean the others were not comfortable, it means I feel the kickers are easier to use even for 4 hours of more.The controls are a little bit bulky, even I mentioned the color as a negative point, it ended up to be a positive one when looking for the earbuds in a drawer full of cables and other headphones or even the car at night.To compare the JBL and Jabra against Kicker may need a real technical benchmark process, but in this case, my review is only based on my music taste and comfort and the fact that I have used a lot, I mean A LOT of earbuds through the years just to look for ones that I can use for long training sessions.

I love audio in general. I have lots of headphones and earbuds. IAM a bass head/ audiophile. I love bass but I also love pure clean music with clarity. It just depends what IAM in the mood for. But that being said. I bought a pair of the 1more triple drivers, the quad drivers, I also bought a pair of audio Technica. Sennheiser, and a pair of Sony MDX. Then I came across these for $15. So I got them to try not expecting much. WOW! For the price I was blown away. They don't have quite the clarity and crisps highs like some of the much more exspinsive ones. But trust me especially when you're not comparing side by side over and over like I did. You will think these are much more exspinsive than they are. Most cheap earbuds have a more v sound wave. They eather have good bass and good treble but no mids or they have good treble and mids but no bass. These have great bass that you can get into but the mids and highs are there also. I have never heard a pair of earbuds under $30 sound this good. There more than Worth the money. They punch way over there price range. I would much rather pay $15 for overall great earbuds instead of paying $85 more for a tad bit more clarity that I have to really try to hear the difference. It's honestly one of the few times I have bought something and as soon as useing it knowing I will always buy these. You caint go wrong. There good buld quilty. Aluminum frame the rubberised cord has extra thread support. They are super comfortable. IAM telling you if you want some great earbuds and you like bass but also like good sounding highs. But a few pairs of these. I want to try the $19 ones they have now. I am one of these people it takes me a month of doing research and looking at reviews before I buy something. Because you see reviews that are not the same and it can get overwhelming. But anyone reading this. Trust me if you listen to all kinds of music and you like bass but also like it to sound clear. These are great for music all music they really shine on rap and bass type songs. They are pretty good watching YouTube. There good for gaming when you just need a to go pair or back up. But these are a steal for $15 .

You can't Expect much under 20$I used to have kicker subwoofers so it's kind ofExpecting bass. ..They came with Earplugs to fit your ears and I lost mine. I don't have any room to talk I recommend Dre beats headphonesA little extra money but it's worth it! I don't know If you're allowed recommending something else. Brandon
