Joey Couture Little Boys' Solid 5 Piece Set Tie Design Varies

We bought this 5 piece set in size 6 for our 7 year old who's just moved into a size 6. The fit was good. Like most suits the pants legs were long, so I just hemmed them up leaving enough slack to take the hem out when he grows to increase the life span of the suit. The tie is an American Express tie which I've bought a cheap dress shirt off amazon that was the same brand and the quality makes me suspect it's something from overseas and not necessarily a name brand. The dress shirt sent with this suit did not have a tag of any sort on it. Not even to tell what it was made of- which is really suspicious to me. The fit of the suit was good and it looks nice.So I'm not complaining about much for less then $20 for a 5 piece suit. Really can't beat that price, but wanted to note some things for others who may be a little more discerning then we are.

Very cute on my 6 yo! The fit runs a little large. He's about to grow out of 6 pants and I had to hem these pants up at least 2 inches. The rise is also fairly tall, he had to wear the pants at or slightly above his belly button so the crotch didn't fall too far. The jacket fit nicely and the shirt, though thin, was long enough to tuck in, something we struggle to find in size 6.The fabric is nice and has a sheen to it, so it's for a dresser occasion. My son wore this as a homecoming attendant and plan on having him wear it to some family weddings. The tie is a grey print and looks very mature, though it is a clip on so needs to be adjusted slightly so the clip doesn't show. Pleased with the price and what we got. It also came in its own clothing cover which will be nice for storing.

Fabric is substantial and crisp, giving the suit an expensive, polished look. The shirt is quite thin, though. I will use one of my son's uniform shirts with it instead. Pants run long by about 1-2 inches, which I prefer because so many of the pants I buy for my son turn out to be too short, but everything else is true to size. The tie has an added button hole clip to keep it in place. I wish a pocket square were included like the other suit I bought of the same brand. Overall, the suit is very sharp, more high-end looking than I expected. I am very satisfied.

The quality and fabric looks nice . . . until we looked closer! One pant leg and one arm were significantly longer than the other leg and arm. We had to spend more money at the tailor to have fixed. Also, the button holes on the pant were not cut, so that had to be done in order to button.It was hard to find a reasonably priced solid navy suit in this size. So we kept, but I would recommend only as a last resort.

The suit itself fit as we expected but the fabric was not as I had desired so it took away from the appearance of the suit, however we wer not totally dissatisfied and although he did not wear it for the wedding he will definitely get some use out of it.

I really love this suit. The only thing I would tell you is that I, like another reviewer, I found it to be a bit big. My son wears a size 6 consistently, but it would have been better to have purchased a size down. I am a good seamstress, so I was able to alter it before our event, but it would have been nice to not have to do the alterations.If you need a suit for First Communion or a wedding or whatever, this is a nice choice. Good quality, fair price. Just get a size smaller than you think you need.

This is a very nice suit but the sizing is a little off. My son wears a size 5 on everything but this suit is still big. Hopefully he doesn't outgrow it before he has a chance to wear it.

When shopping for a child's suit, one must balance cost with how often the child will actually wear it (before they grow out of it). This suit was a great buy. The suit looks great, the fabric looks nice and it was reasonably priced. There is good chance you will have to hem the pants but that is an easy adjustment. I would definitely buy the Joey suit again.
