King OscarKipper Snacks, 3.54 Ounce Cans (Pack of 12), Lightly Smoked Herring Fillets, Wild Caught Canned Herring

I've been getting into canned fish of late and this is the best I've had. I guess they're not counting the weight of the oil it's packed in, but it seems like a larger portion than other similar weight products. Even if it's not, IMO it has a better flavor and good texture. Not perfect, it says lightly smoked and it is, I'd actually prefer much more of a smoked flavor, but still, it's good, the best I've had.Best is of course relative, I'm sure there's smoked salmon for who knows how much per tin that is better, but in this price category it's the best I've found. I will buy it again!

These are the best kippered herring I have ever had. I am 75 years old and like the fact that I am getting Vitamin D and minerals with the protein. These go well with crispbread or with Saltine crackers. Makes a great snack.

I had my doubts, but the fish tastes amazing. I can have it everyday. Wish the can would open without sharp edges but that’s the thing with cans. Great fresh taste.

April, the second I received my king Oscar kimbers and could smell a fishy smell when I open the plastic bag but didn't think too much of it. Yes, it's come from a place or a factory that would have a fishy smell in it. Then when I went to have my first a can of king Oscar kippers. I opened the little red plastic packaging on the can, and it was all wet. Inside the can had a hole in it. Almost looks like a knife Had been stuck into the can. I believe the the hole was put into the can. After the plastic packaging had been put on the can, because the packaging was damp and slightly. Wet on the outside plus the box at a oil stain, about 4 inches in diameter on the box. So it looks like somebody or something stabbed the can after it was packaged.I really like king Oscar kippers. I will order again.But if it happens again, second time, I will not order again.

Love the smoky flavor and the fillets keep their shape. Tried other brands but they just don't have as much of the smoky flavor as these. Just open the can and a pack of crackers and you have a wonderful snack.

Does exactly and services as advertised

It's edible. But the " smoke" flavour tastes like some sort of chemical. It leaves a bad after taste in my mouth. I ordered 12, ate two and threw the others away. I'll probably try the non-" smoked" flavour, but I really didn't care for these. Perhaps you'll like them. I didnt.
