great tire at solid price
I love the WTB Trail Boss tires- they have a great profile- lots of tread knobs in the central part of the tire, for consistent tread to trail contact bite, and the side tread knobs are aggressive, to get that good bite when cornering. A great multi-use tire without being overly aggressive and slow when riding on dirt hard-pack and the flats. The are truly TCS tires and they bead up nice and tight and stay put on my rim beads- I haven't had trouble seating one of these Trail Boss' yet! I can't speak so much to long-term durability, although they feel solid and well-made, as I have only been riding Trail Boss tires for about 8 months now. However, so far no issues with leaks and sidewalls. Great tire!!!

Sturdy tire gives you good grip
I put these on my bike in preparation for a trip to BC. They were great up in BC with really good grip on the rocks. They also improved my riding over stones and rocks here in California, as compared to my Schwalbe Racing Ralphs which I had on previously and which are nice and fast on the dirt but then you have to be more careful on rocks.

I believe that these are good tires, they just don't play nice with all ...
WILL NOT seat with Shimano m785 29' wheels.I tried for hours, days, many blood knuckles and sore fingers. I event talk to WTB support, who were extremely helpful, especially considering I didn't even buy it from them. Either way, I ended up going with a set of Bontrager XR3 Experts which mounted up right away without any issues.I believe that these are good tires, they just don't play nice with all rim combos.

Great tire for many conditions
This is a fabulous tire. It lives up to its reputation. Great in turns, gravel, mud, and adequate over roots and rocks. It runs fine - not like a less aggressive tire but just fine. I run it at 22 psi on the front and 32 psi in the rear. Very pleased.i would give it 5 stars except that the first tire I was sent had a pinhole in the side wall and it leaked - and Stans would not seal it! I have switched to Orange seal.

Great rear tire!
I'm only reviewing using this on the rear. I have a WTB Bronson on the front as it has aggressive side knobs. The trail boss is a really nice tire. Set up tubeless easily. I really like this tire in the back. It rolls really well and hasn't washed out on me yet. I've ridden in packed to light mud conditions. This might be my next tire for the front as well.

WTB 2.25
I like WTB tires. This tire is great but I have to run more pressure than I would like to keep from getting flats.
