very good quality machine
After I have bad experiences with a cheap product with hand crank I decided back and forth for this oil press. The description b.z.w. Instructions are in English. In principle, the operation is very simple. There is a switch for heating and a switch for Squeeze. The seller provide me an online video, that is reallly helpful. For my walnut oil I had started at 140℉ and increased to 175 ℉on the second press. The oil come out about 95 ° - 100 °I use it as an ingredient for my walnut bread. Below the worm shaft are openings from which the oil runs out.It is recommended to use the strainer and to rid it of a surplus walnus remover with a tablespoon or so, or once more gently to perfection. After about one hour of operation, the engine stopped, because only the motor protection was active. After about 15 minutes, the device ran again.(Auto protection work I guess) For me, the purchase was the right decision.

Buy at own risk
I bought this a long time ago but I was disappointed with it hence no review. I thought I would be able to do heavy duty work but I basically just have it sitting down so I don’t think it was worth it for me.

Still unsure what to think
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for my spouse but had not used it until well past the return window. I'm unsure if I would have returned it, anyway, since it did do the job as intended. For the price, I think it was a good purchase but read on to see if this would meet your specific needs. We live in a rural area of the US and do not have ready access to Asian vegetables, particularly Korean produce, so grow quite a bit of our own. My spouse is originally from Korea so it's a must that we have perilla (sesame or 깻잎) leaves in the garden. As expected, we now have perilla leaves everywhere since the seeds spread so easily. This does mean we have an abundance of perilla seeds and wild sesame oil is an expensive and prized ingredient.Enter this press. After researching, I knew I did not want a manual press like the Piteba since we have quite a bit of seed to process. We grow only for friends and family so a commercial press, which would cost thousands, would be overkill for our needs. I would like the option of pressing other, larger seeds so this device looked like a good choice.Build quality is good overall with a solid metal body and stainless parts. The auger is stainless and sturdy, the auger body is dropped forge and possibly a weak point (based on one other review), and the motor seems to be strong enough for infrequent use. The accessories are useful although nothing we didn't already have on hand (the cleaning brush was a useful addition). The manual is.. not useful. It is not just unclear and poorly translated, it's downright infuriating and contradictory. I searched for videos and instructions online to educate myself and would recommend tossing the manual in an open fire. One critical step is not included in the manual and actually prompted me to write this review: Put the retaining pin in the auger holder. The auger goes into the aguer holder, the holder goes into the machine with the auger fitting into the drive, and then you put the retaining pin into the holder and body of the machine. Another reviewer mentioned the auger coming out when they ran it and this is the solution. Ask me how I know :)So, we cleaned and dried all parts before the first test run. I preheated the unit, using the red button on the back, for six minutes then proceeded to add chopped almonds to the hopper. Pressing the black forward button caused the loudest screeching noise to come out of the driveshaft. Turned it off, pressed reverse, and then forward and that seemed to get the process moving. We ended up with a few ounces of dirty almond oil, which I will use for outdoor projects and not cook with, and that seemed to clean out any manufacturing residue. On to the actual use case for us: the perilla seeds. My spouse wanted cold-pressed oil, to retain heat soluble nutrients, but this proved to be impossible. I believe you would really need a commercial machine to have enough force to extract oil without heat. The heat in this machine is only applied to the housing of the auger, so technically it's cold-press, and is virtually required for extracting wild sesame oil. We went through the same process as the almond: pre-heat for six minutes, add the seeds, start and shut off when you can't stand the screeching noise, reverse and go on. I believe I either need to do a hot start (have the machine running before adding anything to the hopper) or accept that some oil needs to be present to lubricate the auger. Regardless, the press began working and we had a steady flow of oil coming out. The included strainer is far too large to capture much particulate. Through trial and error, we found just letting the pressed oil set in a tall, narrow container was the easiest solution. We tried coffee and tea filters but that absorbed oil and the viscous liquid would not pass through. Using "gravity separation" seemed to be the best method and we simply decanted using a pipette and then a turkey baster. So, I'm still unsure what to think about this device. On the one hand, it did the job I purchased it for. Whether it will be able to do the same job in the future remains to be seen. On the other hand, if it wasn't for researching and trial-and-error I wouldn't have been able to use it at all. I'm most concerned about longevity and parts availability. I'm not a machinist and have no idea if the company could be reached for a new auger or screw housing. For those on the fence and in need of something to press small seeds, this is a good choice for the price. If you're near an Asian community there may be a commercial seed pressing facility that will press seeds for a price. If you're in the sticks, then I think you'll be happy with this unit once you understand it's limitations (and have burned the manual).
