Badly made and filthy product, not really food safe either.
Hey Hakka - I'm not going to finish making your product. These things arrive filthy, still covered in machining plastic. Mine also had holes drilled in the wrong place that were then re-drilled. There are holes in the welds for food to get stuck in just because whoever made this didn't care. I used to be a Hakka fan but this is the last product I'm buying from them.

Has it’s flaws but still worth the money.
I read a lot of reviews on this before I decided to buy it. Here’s my take on it. Seems to be built well. It is solid stainless steel. Mine had no rust in it like some reviews stated. The welds on the mixing paddles of mine don’t have gaps like some review stated. The welds in the exterior are poor but they did get complete penetration through the metal. No gaps on the inside of the mixer but there is some putting in the welds in the outside. This in no way affects the use of the mixer. The only cleanup issue I’ve noticed is where the bearings are attached. There is a slight void that could catch meat. My solution....fill with food grade grease before each use to keep stuff out, Problem solved. My one issue with this mixer and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of the lid. It’s not made good and does not fit good. It’s extremely flimsy. The corners are bent to hold it in place and they don’t. The edges are not cleaned up and are sharp so I could see some accidental cuts from it. Personally I work in a Sheetmetal shop so I’m going to make a new stainless lid to fit the way it should with a 1/2” lip turned down on all 4 sides to Hold it in place. All and all I think it is worth the money compared to the lem brand which is $75 more. I would recommend buying based on my experience. Also, I have a 4 #12 grinders none of which are new(20-30 years old) and everyone fits right up to it with no problems. Just need a little height adjustment.

Worked great for mixing my dogs food
Worked great for mixing my dogs food. I was skeptical at first but it worked great. 30lbs of meat is about all it will handle. Along with 27 haed boiled eggs and fish oil. Worked great for what I wanted it for.

Excellent Mixer
This works perfectly. I made two 12 lb. batches of chop meat w/ onions and spices effortlessly. I made 3 four pound meatloaves as well as 24 half pound burgers, formed and frozen. Clean up is a breeze using the spray attachment with hot water in my kitchen sink. I will be using this when I attempt sausage making. Very well made and sturdy product.

Works really well, I process 5-10 deer a year and mixing by hand sucks. This cut the time of mixing seasoning and jalapeños, cheese to the sausage meat in half. Mmmm smoked jalapeño and cheese deer sausage....

Not clear on the 24 pound thing
In the description of this thing, it says "24 Lbs / 11 l". So, I of course didn't mentally picture 11 liters, I picture 24 pounds of meat, i.e. sausage (since what other form of meat could you "mix"?). Having read a number of reviews of other mixers, I was thinking that I'd need to be mixing batches at least half that capacity, or 12 pounds. So, our first batch was about 14 pounds. It was threatening to push up out of the mixer. I'm not sure what other thing you could mix 11 liters of that would weigh 24 pounds except water. Seriously, 11 liters of water weighs 24.2 pounds. But 11 liters of meat weighs more like 18 pounds, and if you tried to mix 18 pounds at once in this thing it would be all over the countertop. I did actually measure the capacity, and it was 11 liters. The mixer itself is built heavy duty like Hakka stuff normally is, if somewhat brutish and inelegant. Don't really care for the feet arrangement, but I see the necessity for it.If you want to be able to mix 15 pound batches (not 24 pound), you might like this mixer. Still the description is deceptive.

Extra parts like keys seals gears shafts should be kept on hand
Great mixer but not big enough 80 holds 25lbs meat comfortably anymore and you have to pay across top so meat doesn't end up on floor they say it holds 60lbs of pork maybe so but venison or beef is more dense had I known I would have gone bigger also key way on drive shaft is cut in angle so if you ever break a key you would have to wait months to get another which causes backlash from customers not receiving there product on time so if you purchase this emediatly order extra parts update this mixer has sheared yet another key called them to let them kno paddle was bent after screw broke they said they would take care of it til this day nothing sent expensive mistake back on shelf it goes never again oh and thanks for the warranty on this it absolutely sucks

Gets the job done, BUT:
This mixer will mix your meat and spices but is sloppily made. Some of the welds are pitted and the openings in the bin where the paddle shaft comes through collect meat and are hard to clean. These two things make sanitation and cleaning very difficult and unreliable. Most frustrating of all was that the tab that the paddle shaft fits on was improperly drilled so that the paddle wouldn't fit. I had to go to a machine shop and get it drilled out. Wasted hours, and cost me $45. If you have this problem, don't bother with automotive machine shops; they don't have the equipment. Find a shop that does general fabrication. Also, don't add dry spices to the your meat in the mixer or it won't mix evenly. Either mix it with the meat before grinding, or mix it with your liquid before pouring it into the meat in the mixer. My size unit (30#) will not do a good job on less than 15# of meat. The primary function for me is that it completely blends everything and with enough time will give me a mix that sticks together. Overall it's pretty crappy and I would not recommend it or buy it again.

Great job mixing sausage mix..
Used my new Hakka mixer today.. Worked as well as I had hoped it would. Made 11 pounds of sausage and mixer was pretty much full.. Maybe would have taken another 1-2 pounds.. Clean up is time consuming but any meat mixer will be. Easy to dismantle and clean.. Very happy..
