You will need a size 4. However, UTG now makes a much superior holster that has pockets for cash and IDs. That size would be "UTG 3.9 pocket holster" and is sold here on amazon for about $8.

Definitely the size 3. I went by the description and ordered the size 2, which said for most .380s, but it is too small. (And my Bodyguard 380 does not have the laser.) The BG won't go in very far in the size 2, and even then the holster fits so tightly it comes out with the firearm when you draw. The size 3 works and fits just a little loosely and long on my BG. If I insert the gun as far as it will go, the rear sight is covered and there's not enough grip outside. But if I only insert it just up to the front of the rear sight, it works well and stays in my pocket when I draw the firearm. I went to the Uncle Mike's website, and they don't even list a pocket holster for the Bodyguard 380, perhaps because neither size fits perfectly. The size 3 works, though. (I'm considering getting a Remora holster for it, too, if I ever decide to carry it more often. The Remora will work inside a waistband, no belt needed, or in a pocket. It has a grippy texture on the outside. I have one for my M&P Shield 9mm. They cost around $25 on the Remora website, and are made to the exact size of each gun.)

I got the number 2. Number 2 I believe I read should fit your 380. I bought no. 2 for my S&W M&P shield. Fits great easy to pull weapon out of pants pocket without pulling holster with it.

What size for rugger SR9c?

I don't know the dimensions of your pistol. I have never heard of a rugger pistol. I have a few firearms from Ruger. It is a lot better to go to Uncle Mike's website and check their size chart than it is to ask us.
