I bought as a gift but I ended up borrowing it! Really interesting, comprehensive guide to all things magick. It’s really accessible in the language used and doesn’t overcomplicate something that has essentially been around since the beginning

This book is great as a reference book and lots to learn I CANT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH..

This book looks great, although I've only breezed through so far. I love how there seems to be no particular 'path' in mind, and the options of deities is indeed an option. Truly Witchcraft, which was never tied to a single faith or religion.

Covers a lot of topics, has some simple spells, has a large correspondence section, what more do you need?

Eu adoro a escrita da Murphy-Hiscock, na minha opinião tem bastante estilo de Scott Cunningham, que consegue abranger a todos e conversar com qualquer leitor. A leitura é acessível e muito útil, mesmo pra quem já pratica magia há mais tempo. Muitas informações úteis. Não é um livro de feitiços, é sobre o processo de criação e lançamento. O livro prende muito, terminei em pouquíssimo tempo. A única ressalva é quanto à qualidade do material. Livros de editoras dos EUA parecem ser todos assim, com a qualidade do papel ruim, páginas quase soltando da lombada etc.

Every page is packed with essential information, I have over 10 books and none of them compare to this one. Spellcrafting doesn't just teach you the basics, it shows you how to actually use the information you're given which is THE most important part. It also has a section that's very thought provoking about morals (not to discourage you, but to genuinely help you to find your own path and make sure you're doing things for the right reason) 100% recommended for beginners and intermediate practitioners. I bought this with Of Blood and Bones and they work great together! As you can see in the photo, the book arrived damaged. Most of the pages are bent or torn, unfortunately amazon doesn't protect their books properly. I'm not going through the trouble of returning it but it's really annoying to buy a brand new book that looks like it was handled by a toddler -.-

I'm absolutely in love with this book. I have been practicing my own universe gratitude magic for a few years now but wanted to amp it up a bit. I'm learning SO much from this book, deciding my own do's and don'ts and the path I want to take to enhance my own magic. Magic is very powerful and I deeply respect it, and with this book I'm learning exactly how to use it, taking what I need as to not cross the line into other forms of magic. I can't put this book down! 5 stars*****
