Bauhaus Beauty
This is my favorite watch. Hand winding is smooth and time keeping is accurate. Perfect for a smaller wrist. I would recommend upgrading the crystal when you are able (available through Junghans). Some are dissatisfied with the "plain" band but I think it complements the simplicity of design. German precision and simple design.

The watch broke, the warranty is void, seller doesn't reply
The watch was nice, but it broke after two months of normal use. After I sent it to the producer in Germany, I was asked to get a warranty confirmation from the seller. I sent a message to the seller via Amazon, and I'm still waiting for a reply. Please note: There is no warranty on watches sold by this seller.Hugely disappointing. Now I'm looking at 100 euros+ in repairs for a watch that cost me $500 in January. Steer clear of this seller, is my advice!

Original German "Bauhaus" Style Timepiece, Designed by one of the Masters! Dependable and Quite a Bargain!
I purchased my "Max Bill" watch, approximately five years ago, and since by chance I happen to b wearing it today, and again, by chance I happened upon this listing for one, while shopping online this evening. So I thought I'd take a moment to write a review. First of all, this is a small watch, by today's standards, and although the double X size watch craze seems to be abating somewhat, I'm not sure that men's watches will ever return to this size again, but thatz's what makes it so unique. It looks like a brand new vintage watch, not only because of its size, but for other reasons too. For example the crystal isn't a crystal at all, but hardend plastic, just like the original sported back in the fifties! If I happen to get a few surface scratches, a little bit of toothpaste, yes, toothpaste, rubbed gently over the crystal will make them disappear, plus you can't get the vintage "dome effect" with a mineral or sapphire crystal. Max Bill was one of the original adherents, who created art masterpieces in what came to be known as the "Bauhaus Style", which after the excessive fashion and style of the late 1950's (think giant cars with fins!), it was "Minimalist", where form followed function. Mine is the manual wind, because that's true to the original, but Jungens does offer the watch as an automatic, if you don't want to have to remember to wind it every couple of days. I have over twenty watches in my collection, including a number of the High End brands; Rolex, Chopard, Omega, Chronoswiss ect., and this little manual wind keeps time with the best of them, only the Chopard times slightly better. It's virtually weightless, and after wearing a Jumbo for a few days, it's easy to completely forget that you even have it on. I highly recommend this watch, if you want a dependable, stylish watch that's different, seems to be retaining its value, and isn't a throw away. Take a peek at what other Junghen's watches are selling for and this watch is a bargain, plus it can be passed down to the next generation and it'll still look cool!

Zero customer service from Junghans
After taking delivery of my Max Bill I have unfortunately scratched the face of the watch and I reached out to Junghans on their service email specified on their website, plus twitter. After requesting a response three times and tweeting on two different days, ZERO RESPONSE. Absolutely pathetic to lay out the hard earned cash with no after sales support whatsoever. I feel like I've been mislead.
