Great Headset for iPhone
This is probably the best all around headset for the iPhone out there. I have had 3 of these over about 4 years. Yes, they will get lost and one even shorted out, but I keep going back because the Bose product just works better. There is probably a better pure music headset if you want to spend more, but there is not another combo phone talking/music headset. Pros: 1) Very comfortable for long periods of wearing. Different sizes of earpieces included. Best product here. 2) Stays in the ear. 3) Allows you to hear ambient sounds so you don't get run over by a car while walking. You can wear these and talk to people if needed. Very handy feature. They do not isolate. If you want that feature specifically, this is not your product. 4) High quality sound of both music and phone. Your listener will not complain that you are in a well when talking. Con: 1) Expensive. But then again, I keep buying them because they just outperform the rest.

Highly impressed
I'm very sensitive to crappy sound. That said, these headphones sound excellent. They have very deep, rich bass and reproduce sound beautifully, considering they are earphones, which I've never liked. But best of all, they don't come out of my ears, no matter what I'm doing! Some examples of activities I can engage in while wearing these: --Running and being sweatty on the treadmill (the Apple Earpods always come right out as soon as I start sweating) --Sit-ups --Biking --Hanging upside down off the edge of the couch and scaring the cat --Taking a phone call They don't hurt my ears at all, even after several hours of use, unlike competing products. Also, these are labeled as compatible with Blackberry, Windows Phone, and Android. I thought some of you might like to know that they work with the iPhone as well. They take calls and the button starts/ends calls and starts/stops music. ***UPDATE*** Four months and one replacement from Bose later... My original pair and replacement pair have both fine bad while running on the treadmill. Bose is replacing my replacement with the SIE2i model since it's designed to be more durable and sweat-resistant. If you intend to do sweaty activity with these, go for the SIE2.

I felt this is better then the Klipsch Image S5i as it is more comfortable
It was between this and the Shure 215. Decided on the Bose as I could get the Shure cheaper else where. My bench mark as comparison is my current Klipsch Image S5i Rugged which I got it at half the price of the MIE2. First thing I notice on the MIE2 I received was, it says FOR WINDOWS on the box. I use an Android phone. Was not too concern as I was sure the single button is universal on all phones. Package includes as described, different sizes ear 'loops', a normal PVC zip case, one adaptor sort of plug and a cloth clip. The MIE2 is not exactly a traditional earplug type as it does not insert tightly in the ear channel. I felt this is better then the S5i as it is more comfortable. The loop definately helps hold it in place. It allows me to hear outside noise if I do not have it on high volume. It does block out noise on high volumes. The other noise I dont hear is the thumbing cable sound I get from my S5i. However, the cable length is much shorter then the S4i but enough to reach the pants pocket. The sound quality is good. I like the staging , clarity and mids. Bass is more of personal preference. The Klipsch produce a tighter base partly due to being ear plugs I think . Clarity and staging is better then the S5i. I definately feel the MIE2 is much more comfortable to use for prolonged use all day compared to S5i. Like most audiophile products, the small gain in quality is never porportionate to the price. I would highly recommend the Klipsch as a quality value product if you do not wish to pay for premier. But if you have the extra cash and is not a bass freak, these are pretty decent entry level high ends. (waiting to get my Shure next)

Great sound with some Android control
I actually bought these for business use. My mobile phone is my primary line for everything. I need my mobile line to sound as good (or better) than a landline. So I was seeking out the best and I found it. Voice clarity (for both the buds and the mic) on calls is absolutely outstanding. After you use stereo headphones for calls you'll never want to go back to a single earbud. Works great for music as well. Bought this for Android and found that it has some degree of control: Single click for pause; double click for next track. Can't change volume from the headphone, but this isn't a real problem as it's very easy to adjust volume on my mobile devices. Bose support is excellent. While I have't have any problems with these, when I've needed repair/replacement on other Bose products it has been very easy. The only real con is the price, which is remarkably high. But you have to pay to play.

A couple of years ago I purchased a pair of Bose QC15s for use when I am flying. They are excellent, good for transatlantic trips, and the noise cancellation and sound quality are excellent. Anyway, so I wanted some decent headphones for day to day use, I tried some Sennheiser and Shure ones, without ever finding the right combination of comfort and sound reproduction. These headphones are easily the most comfortable of this type I have tried (I can't get on with the in-ear types). After wearing these for a while I forget that they are on. The gel insert which fits in your ear looks strange, but is very soft and you really don't feel it. Also it's quite hard for other people to see as it is kind of translucent. The quality of the reproduction if just excellent, listening to various albums ripped as FLAC files is just a joy. The in-line mic works fine (with my Galaxy S3). The only downside is the black and white cable! If you are in the market for comfortable quality headphones and you can afford these then go for it, you won't regret it.

So comfortable I forget these headphones are in. The sound is clear, crisp and as I listen to a large selection of music they handle all very well. These will be used daily on public transport and also in the gym, no worrying about these ear pieces dropping out. Well worth the money.
