The case is sturdy and made with quality materials, worth the price overall. The phone fits the case perfectly and the built in screen protector does not interfere at all with touch sensitivity. Also, with the screen protector it doesn't get "sticky" like a adhesive plastic film protector does overtime. Although with mine is did notice a tiny nick on the inside of the gorilla glass.. It's not really noticeable, it's just annoying that I know it's there. Another tiny bug, they ship the tool you need to open the case inside the assembled case, it's held together by six Allen head screws. So unless you have one in your tool box like I did, you're bumming. Would have given five stars if it wasn't for the screen defect on mine, and the lack of planning when they packed the tool to open the case inside the case.

At first I thought this was a great case. It was strong, and robust, just what I needed. However, the rubber flap for the charging port is lame. I tried to secure it better with a recommended glue. That did help, but not all that much. The worst problem is that after awhile, my phone wouldn't work right. When I made a phone call, the screen would go black. The call would still go thru, but I couldn't hang up until the other person did. When I got a call, the screen would stay on until I moved the phone away from my head to look at it to push the button to hang up. Then it would go black and wouldn't work until the other party ended the call. Somehow, the case was interfering with sensors in the phone. Perhaps the metal case was blocking signals. Anyway, after I removed the case from the phone, the phone preformed perfectly. So, I put the case back in the box, and It sits on a shelf. Also, I discovered when I removed the case, that one of the screws was missing, and all the rest were very loose. I know when I put it together I tightened the screws very tight. How they came loose, who knows. Anyway, I don't recommend this case at all. It seems like it is good, but it's not. So now I'm back to using one of rubber type cases, and wish that Otter Box would make one. They do make one for the Verison model, but that's it.

I dropped my Sony Experia Z3 and went to get it fixed. The place screwed it up so badly they finally bought me a whole new phone (after having it for over a month). With that said, I needed a case! I've been using this case for about a year now. I have become used to the heaviness and bulkiness, the crappy signal, the chipping paint, and the "love Mei" logo. I have to say it has definitely protected my phone though!! I have 2 kids that have broken 2 of these cases already! I am now on my third, but my phone is still in GREAT shape thanks to the case! A few tips: get it in black (the love Mei logo is less annoyingly noticeable) and don't bother putting on the charger cover, it's a pain to deal with and is going to fall off eventually anyways. This case is not waterproof, spilled drinks from the kids always manage to find a way inside the screen covering. You just have to take it all apart, wipe it out, and put it all back together lol! The case is a pain, but worth it!!!!

very solid case, very heavy, appears to be extremely durable.the rubber lining is a bit soft, and would appear to, maybe, loose its shape in the future.My biggest gripe though, are the access covers, the flappy metal cover for the headphone out, is cumbersome, the other issue is the cover for the USB port, it's a large flap made entirely of the same rubber as the internal buffer, it doesn't seat very well, and is prone to staying open. they should have made it either out of metal or hard plastic would have been acceptable.

I would say it's the best case you can get for hard use. Loses one star because the silicone flap/door for the charger is garbage, even with glue it only lasted a couple weeks. If it had a hard aluminum door like the 3.5mm outlet it would get 10 stars.

So far I have noticed it's very durable and no scratches on the gorilla glass. Took awhile to get used to how bulky it is, but glad it's padded enough. I did notice I can't plug in my head phones unfortunately, and if you need to get the case off for whatever reason you need the screw driver which someone decided to package INSIDE the screwed case! My phone got cracked pretty much immediately when I bought it so hoping this keeps it from cracking any more, Sony won't back up there product unfortunately.

works as stated, I check the reviews and looked for something that could handle being on a construction site. It as lived up to the bumps and bruises from falling and bumping at the work site. The cover flap for the charge port is poorly designed, leaving it falling off or out all the time. With the case design this means taking it all apart and putting it back into place. Would also be nice to have a piece of protection glass to cover the camera Lens. If you need something to protect your Phone this is the one for you. As close to Otter or lifeproof thats available for the Z3

Package arrived on time, but the actual case was a little to short for the phone causing the light sensor and front camera's viewpoint to not align so the auto setting for screen brightness is always set on night and the front facing camera is black. The USB port cover is a bit flimsy. But as for durability the case was mostly heavy metal and gorilla glass screen.
