Love My Trike!
I've been looking for a long time to find something I can ride on the nature trail close to my house. I'm 55, fat, lazy, and a weakling. I also have a balance disorder that won't allow me to use a two-wheeled velocipede. I've purchased and returned several vehicles that looked like great fun and great exercise, but were too hard to pedal or otherwise make them move. I was quite discouraged. Other recumbent trikes caught my eye, but they were too pricey.I took delivery of the Mobo Triton Pro in early February, and it sat in its box in my foyer while winter continued to rage on. We finally had relief from it just this past week. My son assembled my trike (the Youtube video is very helpful!) yesterday and it went back to the foyer to wait out the rain. :-PToday the sun finally peeked out between the clouds and the temperature was perfect! So I took the trike out to my driveway for its maiden voyage. OH MY GOODNESS, I'm so excited and happy! It rides smoothly, the seat is comfortable, I can pedal just fine, and the trike manages the slight slope of my driveway very well. Steering became intuitive quickly (I'm a klutz) and the brakes work great. The turn radius is really wide, which might bother some, but I should be fine on the trail, which is pretty straight and level. the trike doesn't pedal in reverse, but I learned a 3-point turn which let me turn around at the base of the driveway and pedal back up to the street. I just put my feet on the ground as needed and pushed myself backward. No problemo!I made probably ten laps that way, to get the feel of pedaling and steering, and I can't wait to take it out on the trail! I can tell already it's going to be so much fun and get me in shape this summer! I was panting when I sat down after just the short time I'd been riding, and my thighs and shoulders are a bit achy LOL!I had been concerned that I wouldn't get much of a workout in my upper body, but I can tell steering and breaking are going to get my arms working quite a bit, too.I can't rave about the Mobo Triton Pro enough! It's going to get this sedentary old lady in shape and keep her active into her "golden" years! I highly recommend this vehicle for anyone, but particularly those of us getting older and wanting to get, or stay, active and have fun doing it!

Comfortable and relaxed ride
I purchased this trike for cruising around the neighborhood with my daughters. With only one speed it is limited in function. Top speed is about the same as a brisk jog so it is not fast. However, it is close to the ground so it feels fast even if I'm just keeping up with my daughter. Seems like the perfect speed for walking a dog. Climbing is fine. I keep the tires pumped up to 40psi and haven't had any issues with traction that other reviews have mentioned. Padded cushions are comfortable. They are similar to what you find on workout equipment. Being in a seated position, there's no strain on the back/hands like a normal bike. The frame is adjustable and feels sturdy enough. Lastly, the instructions were clear and took me about a hour to put together. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and it serves its purpose well.

The perfect transportation for us octagenarians
Superior product with excellent engineering. When I looked at some of the criticisms I was reluctant to buy. I made all the mistakes published in the reviews. Then I went back and REALLY read the instructions. All problems corrected rides perfectly. I additional tip. Be sure to use loctite on EVERY threaded part you assemble. Solves all problems. When assembling fenders, loctite the shaft and HOLD the fender in alignment while tightening the nut.

Good for exercise if you are under 6 feet tall.
Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. She is about 5'8" tall and it fits her perfectly. I am 6'2" and it is a little small for my liking. Even though I bought it for my daughter and she loves it, if I had to ride it as recreation I would buy one that changed gears. I found that trying to drive up a hill I would have to be careful not to pedal too hard because the front tire would not get traction. It has been 6 months since I purchased this and it needs 3 new tires. The rear tires actually wore down pretty fast due to the turning motion of the back tires. The front tire did not wear as fast but it is bald. Also, noticed the more I rode it my size 12 shoes hit the ground sometimes while pedaling. If you have big feet and push the pedal with the ball of your feet yours heals may hit.

Mobo bike
I received my bike 12-5-17 and I liked it. But now I'm not sure. The peddles keep falling off. It's hardly been ridden since I got it because we've had alot of rain. It's very frustrating . My husband added some lock nuts on the peddles It seems to be working now. Hopefully he has fixed the problem. I do like riding it when it stays together. Now I've put less than forty miles on the bike and the back tires are shot! I've had my two wheel bike for years and still have never changed the tires. This bike just seems to be of poor quality.

Cool cycle. BUT the first thing I took out ...
Cool cycle. BUT the first thing I took out of the box after I received it was the rear axle assembly, noticed right away that the two axles mounted on it were not inline with each other. I should of put it right back in the box and sent it back for a refund. I put it together anyway. Sure enough the two rear wheels were not adjustable.for toe in or toe out. Looked at the picture of it on amazon and it shows the cycle with an adjustable tie rod. What I got was a solid round bar with no adjustment. The two wheels work against each other and makes it harder to pedal, let alone wears the tires out faster. My 13 year old son has Down Syndrome, has a harder time pedaling it. I"m going to see If Amazon will send me the right part. Another problem that I can understand are the scratches and the bent parts due to shipping. I will update this review if and when I get the replacement part.

What a gift for kids/adults with balance issues
Our son has muscle strength issues on one side of his body. Regular bike without training wheels was not really an option and at his age, training wheels and kids =not so nice comments. This trike is such a relief and such a gift! He loves it, it’s so easy to assemble and is perfect for cruising around. Thank you Mobo!

Great Little Recumbent
From another shop we already got a Mobo Cruiser Shift for me because I could no longer ride a regular bike due to mobility issues. And we just could not afford the larger very expensive roadworthy recumbent bikes/trikes. My husband was so impressed with mine he sold his bicycle to get this Mobo Cruiser Triton Pro so that he could cruise along side me on my Mobo Shift. This one only gets 4* because we think the Mobos would be sooo much better if they had gears. Getting traction on the front wheel when on an incline can be very difficult at times too. A flat smooth surface seems to work the best. Apart from the lack of gears it is a wonderful trike to have when your mobility is somewhat restricted so that riding a bike is too much of a challenge. Its nice and low with a very comfy seat and back support. No neck, back or leg aches at all. On the right flat terrain you can go as fast or as slow as your legs can take you. It was shipped quickly and arrived on time. Very well packaged too. After having already assembled mine this one was much easier to put together. Instructions are pretty clear. We turned to YouTube for a how to video as backup. Helped loads. Haven't had any operating problems with it so far. It gets used a lot every week. Very happy to recommend to anyone with mobility issues and with a tight budget who's looking for a means to go cycling out in the fresh air like they use to or maybe someone who's never been able to ride a regular bike at all. These Mobos might be just what you're looking for. We both highly recommend them.

FUN WHILE EXERCISING
I like this trike, if you can see in the photo I had the seat modified for my height ( I am 6’ 6 “) Had seat raised from 12 inches to 19 inches. Making it a lot easier to get on and off. Because it is direct drive, it’s not fast, which is fine you’re sitting as if in a recliner, you find yourself looking more up than down, which is what you do most of the time with a regular bike is looking down . It’s very safe to ride, with the safety flag, cars can see you from a distance. I am not an exercise but, but, but I love this trike, and would buy another.

Great bike but check screws often!
My son with cerebral palsy used a Mobo Triton Pro at physio and it was the only bike he has been able to successfully ride. He was very excited that his family pitched in to get him one this last Christmas, even knowing he’d have to wait for the canadian winter to pass before he could ride it. We have only been using it for four weeks and while he’s LOVING it (bike rides are a nice quarantine outing) we have had to go searching around the block twice for screws that worked themselves out while biking. We always go around the same block.. but three out of four seat cushion screws fell out that we have not been able to locate (and are struggling to find with all non essential stores closed.) The screw holding in one side of the steering arm came out two weeks ago, but that was blatantly obvious and we found it right away. Now we check the screws in the steering arms before each outing and tighten when needed. All in all, I love that my kiddo can finally ride a bike, but wish we weren’t always feeling like we have a screw loose (pun intended.)

I have a bad back and haven't been able to go bike riding ...
I have a bad back and haven't been able to go bike riding for some time. The Mobo changed all that. Now I can go riding without any stress on my arms, wrists, hands, back, and bottom. The Mobo is comfortable, fun to ride, and gives you a great aerobic workout. The trike has one speed so don't expect to go fast, just enjoy the ride. My wife and I each have one and go riding together on the local bike trails. They work best on man made surfaces like pavement, cement, tar and chip roads, or bike paths with fine gravel. It's a workout climbing hills so we try to avoid long steep slopes. It shipped quickly and arrived early. The trikes were very easy to assemble and in less than 1 hour were ready to ride. I used blue Locktite on all of the bolts just to make sure they don't come loose during a ride.

Fun for the Whole Family - But Be Aware of its Limits
We really like this trike, but it does have some limitations. It is not intended for use in hilly areas or off road. With the pedals driving the front wheel and your weight centered over the back, there is very little traction when you are going up hill. Also, there is no gearing so the speed is limited. But we really enjoy riding this around the house (we have a slight hill that it can manage) and we all take turns riding it around. The steering being in the rear takes a bit of getting used to, but it is a comfortable and fun ride.
