Daughter LOVES it.
To help my daughter get used to the doctor, we decided to buy one of these sets. The actual Wal-Mart store only had a "Kids Connection" set for 4.88, we went ahead and bought that just to hold her over. :) Any how, I ordered this the same day and got it the following Monday. My daughter couldn't wait for me to open it. She is 2 1/2 yrs old.Since we recieved it, she has been playing with it daily and constantly carries the bag with her where she goes, even to the doctor's office yesterday when we went for a sonogram. It has become a fun toy that my husband, my daughter, and I enjoy because it does make her so happy.Ok, some people are complaining about the stethoschope...IT REALLY WORKS as far as a toy is concerned. You can listen to heart beats in the chest if you put the cup on bare skin. I am shocked at how many people complain about it. If you want a real working one, go visit your nearest medi-supply store. And the arm cuff, so it may not wrap tightly around a toddler or child's arm at all, but who doesn't have a toddler that freaks out when something unfamiliar is on their skin. Someone even mentioned it being too big for a wrist.........well, if you pay attention at the doctor office, it goes above the elbow. :/ It fits mine and my husband's arm perfect. If you want it to fit on a toddler or child's arm, buy a strip of velcro to make it work.Overall, I think the quality it great. It reminds me of the ones we used to play with when we were kids. If some of ya'll can remember the thermometer looked like a barber (candy cane) pole when you spun the end. :) We all enjoy it and have tons of fun with it. And it's simple to play along and learn with your kids....worth the purchase for sure no matter where you buy it from.

A classic toy for a reason!
When my 2-year old daughter freaked out at one of her doctor's appointment, I decided maybe "practicing" going to the doctor would be a way to help alleviate her fear. I had a similar kit when I was a kid and loved it. Our first kit was a non-name brand purchased from a big box store as a way to save a few bucks. It ended up costing me more in the end, because two of the pieces broke within a week. After taping and gluing, we decided to st.op being misers and bought this Fisher Price set. No problems with this one! The set is well made and has stood up to the torment of my very active toddler. The stethescope is still pretty stiff and we have problems keeping it in our ears while listening, but that's a small thing. I can't tell you how many checkups I've given and received with this and we've had it less than a year. It is a little more expensive than some other sets, but in my mind you are paying for improved quality. I have no doubt this toy will be something that can grow with her and will provide continual entertainment and education. The FP kit I had as a kid survived 2 generations, and I don't doubt this will, too.

Simple Doctor Kit - Not Overwhelming with Too Many Items
We use this medical kit in a play therapy setting. The price is right. There are only a few tools in this kit, but it is plenty for basic, creative medical play. It doesn't have an overwhelming amount of items, which children may not be sure what to do with anyway. But it has all the basics. We added a working stethoscope to our bag and are considering adding a working blood pressure cuff, because of the nature of why our children are playing with this item, but otherwise we are happy with how it comes. The bag is cloth, which is wonderful for durability. It only has a small velcro closure, so there is no guarantee that your tools won't fall out during storage, but it also makes for easier access for kiddos while playing. It is working very well to meet our needs.

This Kit Helped My Kids Not Get Scared of the Doctor!
Last fall, my twins watched some TV shows that showed doctors and they started using various toys around the house as their doctor equipment. I love their imaginations but thought getting them a doctor kit would be a great idea. There are so many to choose from but I chose this one because it was a decent price by a good brand and figured I would give it a chance even with the mixed reviews. This medical kit contains the following pieces:- Thermometer with a dial on it which shows three different temperatures and a happy or sad face- Bandage made of hard plastic and is a good size for small wrists- Syringe that actually moves in and out- Otoscope to look in ears- Stethoscope that fits a preschooler's head well (and it actually fits my head too!)- Blood pressure cuff with a pump and dial that work. The cuff is big enough to fit on my arm.- Green bag for holding all of the supplies with a couple pieces of Velcro at the top to close it.When my twins opened this kit on Christmas morning, they were so excited! They were eager to give us checkups and have used it quite a bit since then. My daughter got a Doc McStuffins vet kit so she mostly uses that and my son usually uses this kit. My son even likes to use this kit to give his animals checkups which is pretty cute. One of the things I had mostly hoped for was that this kit would help them get over their fear of going to the doctor's office for their checkups since they could recognize what the equipment does. Either this kit works miracles or my kids just matured more (they recently turned four), but they didn't have any problems at their recent checkup and I was so happy! One thing about this kit is that a few of the pieces feel a bit cheap but honestly, for the price, the quality is good. The recommended age for this kit is three years. My kids play with this medical kit a lot and everything is still in good shape. It may not hold up for a long time but if it lasts us about a year or so, I will be happy. If you are looking for an inexpensive doctor kit for your little one, this is a good option!

Fisher Price Doctors Kit
I have always loved this kit as my own children had it when they were young and now my grandson loves it as much! I especially like the new carrying case as it is much easier to put the instruments in.

Bien hecho
Materiales de calidad. El fonendoscopio incluso funciona, aunque eso hace que la goma sea más rígida que la de otros. A mi hijo de tres años le encanta. Buena relación calidad precio

My 2 year old loves this set
We bought this set for our daughter's second birthday, she absolutely loves it.Nice chunky set perfect for a toddler. The 'plaster' is a plastic cuff that fits midway up her forearm and stays on fairly well. The stethoscope doesn't really work but to be honest a plastic stethoscope toy is never going to be hospital grade and I don't think my daughter really cares! The only negative I have found is the blood pressure monitor cuff is 'adult sized' rather than made to fit a child, the velcro that holds it together is not placed in a way that it can be secured small enough to stay on child's arm but this can be sorted with either something like a paper clip or by adapting it by moving the velcro or adding a couple of poppers. My daughter really likes the bag it comes in. I think it is much better and longer lasting than a case - it is much smaller and easier to store away and everything fits in quickly and easily - rather than having to faff around putting bits in special slots, you soon get used to what should be in there - important when you are clearing it away ten times a day!Happy to give it 5 stars despite the negatives - we paid around £14, not sure I would want to pay any more though.
