Leverage: The Complete Series

DVD format is for Australia DVD players, will not work with US DVD players.This was confusing since it shipped from a US location, but the bottom line is that I ordered the set but could not play any of the DVDs.

Got this as a father's day present for my husband. As we go through we would learn that half the discs won't even play. Doesn't matter whether we put them on our classic DVD player our Xbox One or our laptop. If we would have known we would have bought individual seasons from another vendor.

We are still in season 1, but the episodes are not on the disks in the correct order according to how they were originally released. Additionally, there is no episode names on the disks or the boxes, so there is no easy way to find a specific episode. Finally, there are no subtitles available on the disks, so it is not easy for someone with hearing issues. If it hadn't come directly from Amazon, I would have worried they were overseas pirate versions. On the bright side, the quality is good, just episodes in random order that make the story line odd.

Season 2 Discs 2&3 DO NOT work. This is the only flaw. You have sent me two complete sets. The SAME PROBLEM exists for both sets. Maybe you can get this corrected for me. Thank You

Some of the discs will not play. I have a brand new DVD player so I know it's not the problem. I don't know what could be causing it because most of the rest play fine.

This disk set is of absolutely no value to me! I have severe hearing loss, so I make sure the description says English CC. I only opened the package for the first season, and there is NO captioning at all - not even any way to enter a set-up mode. The disks just boot up with a list of episodes. The story lines are interesting, and there is humor and a good back story, but it is all lost to me because I understand almost none of the dialogue. My family members enjoy this and recommended it, but it leaves me isolated from their company because it is a waste of my time. Amazon: Please investigate this provider!

I would recommend this series if you enjoy con man genre (this one is mingled with tech and espionage type content). Great cast delivers consistently great performances---you can tell they had good chemistry on set. Fun concept and the episodes provide nice variety of cons, characters, and locations throughout the series. Digital effects are very cheesy and product placement is painfully obvious when present, but those didn't detract much from my enjoyment. FWIW: I just got through a third watch of the entire collection. Shout out to Portland, OR---I'm just a hop and skip away.Honestly, my only gripe.... where the heck is the Blu-ray set?!

I love Leverage, and after re-renting the discs multiple times from Netflix finally decided to invest the money and buy the whole series on DVD. The quality is mostly very good, and I've enjoyed the included commentaries. Problem is, the Season 5 disc 3 will not play - not in my DVD player, not in my computer, not in an external optical drive. I can hear the drives working to try and grab onto something, but they get nothing. The disc appears undamaged, so no excuse there. Pretty frustrating. From what I can see, non-playing discs is a fairly common trouble with this set. That's too bad, as it's a fun series, and otherwise I would have considered it well worth the money.

I love my DVDs! One of the cases is a little cracked but I can live with that.

I purchased this product under the impression that it would be new unused.It arrived and to my disappointment it is very used.When I purchase something on Amazon I expect it to be a new product, if I wanted used I'd go to ebay.This should not be allowed on Amazon
