Amazon issues: I just paid twice the amount on amazon for this bar as I did on another web site! I repeat TWICE THE AMOUNT! Amazon should be ashamed of that kind of price gouging! Also, it melted on the way here or because it was left in the sun on the porch! So it Tasted really gritty from I believe the melt! I've had other Taza bars not melted that were not gritty tasting. Not happy with these two issues! Taza: The chocolate bar itself is good tasting and has very healthy ingredients! Suppose to be low sugar at 11 grams for 1/2 the bar, but it could be much lower so I could eat more of the bar to get greater anti inflammatory results. It does work for calming the inflammation! I was surprised that my favorite treat could help me sleep better and solve SOME of the inflammatory issues!!! Thank you Taza!!!

The marriage of Taza's chocolate and coconut bar left a lot to be desired. Biting and chewing this product presented a terrible mouth experience. Gritty and unpleasant! Unfortunately this was not the product for me. I have eaten very dark chocolate before and I am aware of the consistency of coconut. I was not quite expecting a mounds or almond joy cream texture, but nor was I expecting granules of a roughage type food item either.

Got into a discussion on CNN Facebook about chocolate and has posted that Amazon had chocolate at a reasonable price. Ordered it late Feb. 13th and it arrived in less than 24 hours. Dark chocolate is recommended by medical professionals for the brain as a supplement. The National Institute of Health 2020 study "Beneficial Effects of Dark Chocolate for Episodic Memory in Healthy Young Adults:" declared it improves cognitive function and brain health. That was my Valentine's Treat to self-care. Amazon buys good products. I was pleased to seek TAZA from Beans to the Bar is a certified Direct Trade Cacao dealer-favors farmer. A factory in Massachusetts was made because the CEO, Mr. Whitmore, visited Oaxaca, Mexico, and fell in love with stone ground chocolate techniques in Hispanic culture. The dark chocolate bar is large-length of my wrist to my middle finger tip and as wide as my palm. Opening it, the smell of dark chocolate entices one for a bite. It is scored in small rectanges 2 per row. You can eat it directly, and it is mostly chocolate with natural coconut and organic sugar but not bitter at all. It has a strong chocolate flavor, which I like. The last 4 rectangles I melted in my cocoa cup on a hot plate and added brown sugar and water. Dark syrup like chocolate with an appropriate amount of oil as in 22 percent and likely plant oil. It is considered two servings as in half the bar. Half a direct eat and the other half hot cocoa drink. :) I helped some farmer somewhere growing food.

As an Easter treat for the wife, this was a great choice. While it is only about 3/4 of a full size bar, it has premium ingredients and given how quickly it was devoured, I can say it was very good. I would consider buying this again for special occasions, pairing with wine after a special dinner party, or adding it to a gift basket of foodie items.

I've ordered this particular brand/flavor so many times but can't believe how much they've jacked up the price! It's not a very large bar. Won't be re-ordering due to price.

Tazo is ABSOLUTELY the best chocolate I have ever had in my life. It's quality is ten stars, with natural ingredients, natural flavors, and no added colors or preservatives. The flavored chocolate is seriously OUTSTANDING. If it's vanilla, you WILL TASTE vanilla, chocolate with almond will taste like almonds, and even the chocolates made with Chile's (real green Chile's with a real ZING, robed in outstanding CHOCOLATE) are quite good! THIS PRODUCT is worth the money, as it is something to savor, and to serve to guests, even. I love buying the multiple flavors package and just enjoying all that FLAVOR, but in moderate amounts. It's a mega treat for myself. Everybody should have a treat now and then; and if you haven't chosen one for yourself, well here's your chance! ENJOY!!

Received this chocolate bar in one day and it is uneatable. Dried out and now, apparently not returnable. I paid for it in good conscience. What the heck?
