One of the best products I've *ever* bought!
I'm giving this product the "Most Pleasant Surprise I've Found On Amazon" award, hands down!!!Okay, so I love this light and I see no reason why anyone regardless of age/gender/etc. wouldn't agree! That said, if you're a lighting snob you might want to keep looking. Technically, the ceramic (I think) flowers on the base could be called tacky at close range. I, however, love them as well as the other features of this lamp...The lamp is easy to assemble; the gold things on the leaves are for holding the colored part of the leaf in. It's sturdy and delicate at the same time, and it's a ***touch lamp*** which is beyond awesome, especially for nightstand lamps. You can just reach out with your eyes closed & touch it instead of fumbling around for a switch. It also has three different intensities, or as I call them, "sexy", "romantic" and "reading". :) It's very nice to have the choice! The lamp is also original enough that everyone will compliment you on it. It appeals to both sexes, in my experience so far.Another thing that is just awesome about this lamp is that the base is very small, meaning you can fit it pretty much anywhere. This is a no-brainer IMO, especially for the price! Enjoy!

Very pretty
I needed a nice lamp on my bedside table and this one is lovely. Yes the flower petals and parts are plastic, but that is okay with me. All three brightnesses work just fine at touch. My only worry is bulb replacement when needed. I read the bulb size in the instruction sheet, so I know what to get, I just hope they are purchase available, it is not a bulb I have seen. It is definitely the right one in appearence for the overall look of the lamp though. And the lamp is working perfectly so I am quite happy. So 4 or more years later and my original bulb is still going strong! And lamp is still lovely.I am embarrassed to admit that I had been distressed about replacing that bulb when the time came, and I noticed that others were as well... come to find out during recent cleaning spree, the bulb size is written on the underside of the lamp! Just flip that lamp over and you can't miss it! I don't know how I never noticed before.

Simply stunning!!!
I grew up with touch lamps in my grandmothers home, so as an adult I wanted one of my own. I ordered one a few years back and its still going strong and looks just as beautiful as the day I opened it. I decided a few weeks ago that I wanted another one for my bedroom so I ordered it. I received it not to long after to find the box was severely damaged (due to terrible handling of usps not the seller) and the lamp was broken and it didn't work. I emailed the company and they quickly sent a replacement out. Its just as beautiful as the one I purchased a few years ago and I am so happy with my purchase. The light itself puts out three levels of lighting and each one is bright and beautiful.

Kind of a bummer.
I was shopping for other things when I came across this lamp. It looked cute from the photos, and I needed one for my night stand, so, for twenty bucks, I thought, “sure, why not?” and, I bought it.I am not thrilled about my purchase decision. As a matter of fact, I am kind of bummed out about it.The seller description is accurate, so that isn’t the problem. The photos on the other hand …While I understand that every retailer, vendor, or merchant, desires to make their product as appealing as possible (especially online) because the object is sales, there should be a limit to how much one can clean up a photo before posting it online. It is rather depressing from a consumer standpoint when appealing turns into appalling. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that this lamp is appalling, but it certainly is not what I expected it to be.It looks like the photo, without looking like the photo, if that makes any sense. The shade IS plastic, that’s for sure. The base is brass plated metal, and the flowers that are for added benefit of ornamentation, are cheap white plastic and poorly spray-painted yellow in the middle. The only thing that is glass, are the leaves, and those have a pop art polka dot design in kelly green.Had I known that it was going to be such a drastic difference, I would’ve just spent the extra thirty bucks on a tiffany style lamp that I’ve been eyeing up for a few months now.The lamp isn’t a complete eyesore, and, lit from a distance, it’s not too bad. It kind of grows on you after awhile, and it’s kind of cute, from far, far, away. It’s just not what I expected. The order arrived in a timely fashion, and it was packaged nicely, (the bulb was included also) but there was no return label included in the box. So, since it would cost me about half of what I paid for it in the first place, to return it, I have decided to keep it. C’est la vie.I was neither solicited nor paid by either amazon.com or Collections Etc. to write this review (obviously). I am just feeling “meh” about my purchase decision.Lotus Flower Table Touch Lamp, Yellow

It's cute
Pros: it's cute, inexpensive, 3 levels of light, and it's a touch light!Cons: it's all plastic except the leaves , it looks cheap. Lacks the wow factor younger in the photo. You'll have to glue those small flowers on because they don't stay on their own.

Perfect.
Perfect, inexpensive lamp. Bought two. Yes, you have to assemble them a bit, but it's not rocket science. I put two together in less than twenty minutes. Pop in two leaves, screw on three flowers, put on the main flower, screw the nut to hold in, put the bulb in. Easy peasy. I did put glue on the threads of the smaller flowers since some people said they come loose, problem solved. Decorative lamps are always stupid expensive, these are beautiful and budget friendly. Some people complain about them being plastic, they don't look plastic from an average view point, and how often is someone inspecting your lamps anyways. They're cheap, they're beautiful, buy one.
