I decided I wanted to get another Browning trail cam for my yard to see if I could get videos of animals from other areas of the property. So far, I’m loving the Strike Force HD Pro X. The set-up was easy/straightforward, the videos are crisp and clear (and were easy to customize in set-up), and I especially like how the video screen turns on when you arm the camera so that you know exactly what area it’s going to be filming, when triggered. Takes the guesswork out of repositioning the cam to get the best angle. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to see who/what is out and about in their yards at night or during the day!!

user friendly, images are clear. I have several different makes of game cams around the property to survey for coyotes on the lurk. This one is definitely better than my old timie Bushnell, more user friendly, images are clear. This, however, is my most expensive one of the bunch, not sure I needed to spend the money.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the date and time on the very bottom is way to same to see once you view the SD card.

Camera and card are good but the card reader is aggravating to use. I have to remove my phone from the case in order to use the card reader.

Received this item on time with no prior experience using this type camera. I use it for day and night movement off my back deck with joins a 23 acre tract of forest. It also covers the hill leading away from the house with a very wide angle shot. I rate this an excellent product at a reasonable price point.

I have several Browning cameras, three of this model (BTC-5HDPX). Overall, I'm impressed with the photo/video quality, the ease of setting up the camera and the menu options. My beef is with the tree mounting system. Any of the Browning cameras that have the metal back that allows for angle adjustment is one to stay away from. It will not hold the camera in position, even tightened down a squirrel will knock it so you're looking at the ground. I've had two cameras ruined by bears the have knocked them off the trees and broken the back out where that metal piece is attached (pictured). Now I understand that no camera is going to survive a bear attack, but all my other cameras that have the strap going through the back plastic slots have not been ruined to the point of useless. Now you know why they aren't showing the back of the camera on the product pictures.

I've bought 6 of Browning's trail cams over the years. WITHOUT EXCEPTION, every single one either didn't work out of the box, had to be returned for a refund or replacement, or had to be sent back for repairs which were, in every case, unsuccessful. EVERY SINGLE replacement camera also failed. I'm not talking minor problems, I'm talking about complete failure to function within a 3 months to a year of the purchase date. These were not refurbished, nor bought from other sellers. All were brand new and purchased directly from Browning. I used them gently, and don't live in an area with extreme weather. You're better off going with another brand.
