Battleship Grab and Go Game (Travel Size)

I have a full size copy of battleship at home, but bought this version so I could bring a smaller, cheaper copy with me on an upcoming, long work trip and be able to play with my 6 year old son over the phone/video calls. Worked perfectly well for that: the boards are compact and durable so it crams well into bags and I thought the $5 worth it. As others have mentioned, the pegs are small and difficult to work with and the game is not really suited for playing while in transit. But I'm a 71" tall, 210 lb male and manage fine playing in the hotel room.

It can be hard to play with such tiny pieces but it is still very fun and plays the same as the original game. I made the mistake of putting the two boxes together though and it was really hard to separate them again.

The boards and pieces are great, and it is easily portable. Due to size, it’s unsurprising that it can be a bit difficult to navigate if the players do not have small hands. Side note: found it was better to set up the ships on the vertical board so that the other player doesn’t accidentally see where they are located.

This was great for traveling! Easy to use and the kids played it for hours in the car and had a lot of fun

While it does work and is very travel friendly, it's just a bit too small. It makes it slightly difficult to pick up the pegs and put them in the holes. Removing the pegs from the board/ships is also slightly challenging. I suppose with smaller kids, it might work just fine, but teenager and up it's a bit difficult to play.

We have brought this set on every vacation by car and plane and it's been so much fun. It's the perfect size and I love that the 2 sides connect for transport. We love this game and taking it on the go has been fun for everyone.

First the box was crushed. I keep games in the boxes when not in use. It was shipped in a bag. The box is like cereal box cardboard. The pieces are tiny, but i can deal with that, but I will not deal with the pop the case makes when closing causing the pegs to go flying. Amount of fun I had picking up pegs = zero. Also I felt like the plastic was going to break when I tried getting the cases apart.

It is very small

El clásico juego de mesa en su versión portátil. Práctico, sencillo de transportar y de almacenar. Tiene piezas pequeñas, no es recomendable dejarlo a la mano de niños muy chiquitos. Es una buena compra para llevarlo de vacaciones en familia o en pareja.

Great little battleship set, we've taken this on trains, planes and ferries and it has kept the little ones busy! It's the perfect size for travel and great value. The pins are actually very easy to remove unlike some that can be stiff and they're all safely contained within the case.
