This is a beautiful lamp which brings a touch of nature to your room. Although very ambient, the lamp itself isn't very bright at all and did not give me the illumination I wanted. I have a small room and this still failed to illuminate my whole room even though I have used himalayan lamps in the past of a similar size which had illuminated my whole room. This isn't a bulb issue as I have tried switching the bulbs with a brighter one and it didn't make a difference. However although this is a negative for me, if you want to use this as a soft nightlight it's perfect. I wanted to use it for work too but it's not very ideal. The top of the lamp doesn't light up at all so I used a knife and sandpaper to cut some of the salt off and this made a big difference which is why I'm happy with it overall. If you want something soothing to your eyes and ambient I can't recommend anything other than this. Being real himalayan, it looks stunning and you can see the different textures. It is very heavy although not big and looks insane. The white salt is just what I wanted for my white desk, it all looks very clean and has completed my work space set up. When it's lit, the light reflects beautifully off of my white gloss surface and enhances the gloss. Just wish it was a tad bit brighter to improve functionality. It's nice that it comes with a dimmer which is easy to use and seems durable. I've had this for over a few weeks now and leave the light on throughout the night, and the bulb is going good.

I just absolutely love the look of this lamp. It gives off a soft pink/orange glow that is so relaxing while winding down for bed. I like that it has a dimmer so I can choose the exact brightness that is comfortable. It isn't bright like a reading lamp even when on full brightness, but I prefer that, and you can look at it directly and appreciate it without it hurting your eyes. I appreciate that wood has been used for the base (there is plastic for the light fitting but it is hidden). There is something so calming about your light source emitting from something made of natural materials. The bulb fixture fits snugly into the base. Nothing poor quality about the fittings. It gets slightly warm when it has been on for a while, enough to evaporate the moisture in the salt. It is not hot to the touch, which I am glad about as when I heard that it is the heat of the bulb that causes the evaporation I was worried it would be a fire risk. It came very well packaged, lots of padding in the box and it was shrink wrapped with a silica sachet to prevent it getting damp during storage. The size I chose was the 2-3 kg and it is perfect for my small bedside table. I would absolutely buy this again.

Light quality is good looks lovely and easy to put together and lasts a long time. Do have to wash with a damp cloth every few weeks.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It’s really good quality and adds a lovely warm calm glow to her room. Easy switch to turn on /off, doesn’t overheat at all, looks great. Good price for the size as it’s quite heavy so I was impressed.

I love absolutely everything about this lamp! I received it very swiftly. It was carefully packed for shipping, no assembly was required, since the bulb was already inserted in place. There is a spare bulb as described. Probably, the best feature about this lamp is the dimmer switch, allowing to adjust the light intensity to your liking. I can recommend this lamp without any hesitation. It looks great on my entrance table in the hallway and I use it as a night lamp, providing a soft non-disturbing light and emanating a very light non-invasive salty smell. I have used a square black plate as a platter since eventually there are small crystals of salt chipping off. It's a pity I can't upload any pictures, since the lamp looks very attractive both during the daylight, putting in value its natural irregular beauty and its light is truly magic at night. Amazing! Would buy again! Perfect calming lamp for winding down — dimmable, soothing, and even worked as a night light. Not bright enough for reading or work, but ideal for relaxation. Mine lasted over 3 years (until my nephew broke it) with no bulb change, came pre-assembled, looked beautiful, and at around £15–£25 it was excellent value for money.

I bought two of these as gifts. Both recipients were really impressed, in particular my daughter as she suffers terribly with hayfever. Only been used a few days but she feels her symptoms have lessened since using the lamp. She loves the crisp white colour e we hen not in use and the the golden glow when turned on. The brightness can be changed which is great so can be used as a decent lamp or as a night glow. Great price for a good sized salt lamp. I’ll definitely be buying more.

I spent a while researching which one to get after my previous lamp broke - it was more of a basket with blocks of salt in which was lovely but this is a whole new level. I love the dimmable feature, perfect for first thing in the morning and also the evening. It’s a good quality switch too. The salt itself is beautiful. I am very pleased with it.
