Kumihimo Endings: The finishing touch for every braid

Kumihimo is a favorite hobby but I was always struggling to create different finishes. This book fills a void in my Kumihimo library.

I learned many new options for ending my kumihimo projects.

I was waiting for a book like this one to help me out with my journey learning Kumihimo techniques. Thanks Prue.

a wonderful book by an amazing author. pictures to support the clear instructions. Pru McRae is a master of kumihimo and she shares her knowledge quite willingly. she is on Facebook and offers a wealth of inspiration.

Buyer beware.....this is not a full-size book. It measures 6 1/4" by 6 1/4" and has 78 pages, many of which are full-page pictures of the author's creations. It should be more accurately described as a booklet rather than a book. All in all, there are only a handful of different techniques presented for finishing Kumihimo jewelry pieces, so it by no means provides a comprehensive overview of this topic. On a positive note, the information is nicely presented and the pictures are of good quality. I just wish it would have been more....much more.

Nice book filled with great ideas for ending Kumihimo projects. The photos are great, and the instructions are clearly written.

Just what I needed to give a kickstart to my creative juices.

I love this book as it has so many different endings all in one place with instructions on how to do them. It goes into details about accessories required to complete your project i.e. wire, glue, clasps etc.I started Kumihimo using Pru's (the author) YouTube videos and I find that she explains things well and in a way that's easy to understand. Using the book alongside her videos is helpful.The only negative about the book is the size, it is really small so difficult to make out some of the photos. Overall, I think the book is worth it as it makes various designs and endings seem achievable rather than overwhelming. Having a book on endings specifically is great to refer to.

I've been braiding items using Kumihimo and Prumihimo disks, and was often stuck for ideas on what type of braid-ends. This book by Pru McRae is very useful. One can find info even for other types braid.

A useful guide to finishing off your braids, well explained and easy to follow. Photos could be larger so you could easily see the detail.

Book is great, however, as can be seen above after using for the first time a lot of the pages are falling out. Very poor quality book binding.
